We used ABH for the purchase of our home. Throughout the process we found ourselves constantly chasing for answers, ringing and still getting nowhere. Every time we rang out solicitor was either busy or on their break. The completion finished eventually and we found 4 months after moving in there was still things outstanding which we had to then had to find the money to pay out after being assured everything was completed. The service was poor and the communication was terrible. Will not bring them or recommending them to anyone I know. The only reason I’ve given 2 stars is because we finally have the house. Avoid at all cost!!!
We were recommended to use Alker Ball to look after our house sale affairs and we are so glad we did. We had great communication from Christina and Michelle throughout and felt that the whole process was made stress free, especially being fully updated step by step. We thank you for all your help and recommend your services to anyone. I miss speaking to Christina as she was so friendly, professional and reliable helping us throughout. Once again thank you.

Called in today on recommendation from several friends without an appointment . Both the receptionist and secretary of the person we wanted to see spent at least half an hour listening to my problem about an executor of a will from another firm of solicitors . In order to provide a fair and balanced review, I have to say that the day of Completion ran smoothly and I was satisfied with the price. However, the journey to Completion was one of frustration - a lack of updates, spoken to like I was a naughty child for complaining about the lack of updates, no concern or consideration showed about the rest of the process of moving house eg. organising a removal company, arranging to empty the house I was leaving. The staff on Reception are lovely and helpful but trying to actually speak to the solicitor was like a game of cat and mouse and when she did deign to take my call, she was condescending and patronising. I would not recommend this company.
Extremely slow , Extremely rude staff. Spoke to like a child, very arrogant and Extremely incompetent. Initial appointment March, still absolutely no further on. Lack of communication then told off for us making it hard work because we didn't turn up to an appointment that was not confirmed to us. Awful experience.
Mr Leah was a straight talking but compassionate advocate during my case, which was exactly what I needed during a difficult time. There were a couple of admin hiccups which delayed things but I believe that was probably on the court side during covid, and I think everyone in the team did a really good job for me, for which I am very grateful
