"The beautifully preserved Keswick Alhambra has been delighting audiences since 1914. Fully updated and restored, enjoy state of the art sound and projection, comfy seats, soft drinks, hot drinks, wines and beers while you watch. We have the latest movies, art-house films and live-streamed theatre, concerts and events in our little gem of cinema heritage.Our larger screen is in the original Edwardian layout with 99 seats in the stalls and 75 balcony seats. The new 29-seat studio screen has a more intimate atmosphere, with the latest sound and laser projection.All films are bookable on our website, and we offer private hire of either screen. The smaller studio screen is also available for private hire for gaming parties."

Whilst on holiday we came to see the national theatre live production of the book of dust. We had a brilliant time. The venue is absolutely stunning, beautifully clean and the staff were so friendly. It is an absolutely brilliant community asset. If you are in the area and looking for a night out or an inside activity I would definitely recommend a visit.
Fabulous traditional local cinema. Beautifully revamped with an amazing bar area, amazingly decorated ladies facilities can't comment on the gents good range of reasonably priced drinks & snacks. Great up to date films & the Film Festival is a must for any cinema fan. A real delight that is comfortable, personal & a must visit. Looking forward to seeing you all in 2023.
We love visiting the Alhambra, it’s just perfect. The vast choice of productions on show is amazing from the most current film releases to concerts, operas and much more. The seating is extremely comfortable and the sound and vision quality awesome. We highly recommend all our guests to visit during their stay
Found the Alhambra on a camping holiday with my church 5 years ago. it has now become an annual event to go and book a movie ever since. Have seen some great films in nostalgic surroundings, the last being The Railway Children 2. The renovations have brought this wonderful cinema back to life. Keswick would not be the same without it. Looking forwards to my visit in 2023.
Loved loved loved this place a real treat to visit. Such a unique quirky family owned cinema. Could get a glass of wine in a proper glass other choices of soft drinks beers spirits on offerwith snacks to enjoy with the movie. Not badly priced either in my opinion .. 2 tickets in the upper circle to see Elvis with a glass of wine bottle of water and 2 popcorn £25 When I visit keswick again will certainly be going again!!
I have lived here for 13 years and this is truly unique cinema. It’s cosy and feels traditional. Staff are lovely and snacks are just perfect. They do lots of deals for parent and child so I have been going there more often lately. I M not into the modern feel loud and noisy cinemas cause I prefer this vintage gem that still has all modern equipment. Highly recommended if you are on holiday and want to have a great night out - like pizza and cinema.
The Alhambra is a gem! Gorgeous building, super friendly staff, a very good range of films and very reasonable prices. It's a much nicer experience than the big cinemas - give it a try!

As always, the Alhambra was a total pleasure to visit. From the beautiful period entrance, to fantastic reception area with quality confectionery, wine and beer, friendly and down-to-earth staff, and finally to the feature balcony to watch 'A Man Called Otto' everything was perfect. The Alhambra is THE cinema experience.
Shhhhh Keswick's best kept secret. Quirky, friendly, step back in time with all the mod cons to boot. What's not to like. Great bar, selection of snacks and even a brilliant place to call in for coffee. Brilliant selection of films from blockbusters to film noir. The Alhambra is a joy to visit for the loo's alone believe me - each one is fab. Just slightly out of town and a must visit for locals and visitors alike.
