Really pleasant shopping experience. Loads of parking, well laid-out store, and plenty of staff around to point us to anything we couldn't find. We visited on a Bank Holiday Monday and expected it to be chaos, but shelves were well stocked and there was no wait at the checkout. Most of our shop was cheaper than it would have been at any of the other local supermarkets, and the only negative was that we were charged twice for one item - easily done when zipping items through a checkout, but annoying that there's no chance to check your receipt before leaving, as the checkout process is always pretty rushed. That's the Aldi experience though! All in all, a much more enjoyable experience than expected, and we'll definitely be back (and not just for our £2...)

Pretty poor really. Packets of fruit usually contain one rotten piece. The last time I went, I bought some lamb steaks (two packets of two). They looked fine from the top, though when I opened them up, the undersides were just pure fat. You could never have spotted this in the store. I ended up throwing around half of the meat away! The store is usually very crowded and staff are very busy and so not terribly helpful.

Newly-opened store (Oct 2017). Excellent value produce. Store is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Good size car park.

Store is ok. Good grocery items. Staff is good and cooperative. Could not find many items from here like olive oil, e-cigarettes etc.

Nice chain good value , easy access disabled spaces available. Some of the more recently refurbished stores have restrooms
