Despite being an almost new Aldi its still got the slightly damp Aldi smell. I literally don't know how they do that so consistently.nnGood range, nice tidy store. Didn't have the one Paw Patrol toy I was looking for but that's the gamble you play with Aldi.nnPlenty of parking in the retail park although a bit of a maze to get out.
If I could give zero stars I would. I stopped shopping here a while ago. I am disabled with MS and unable to get around the store safely. Most of the isles are blocked with boxes and trollies used to refill the shelves, and most of the staff stacking the shelves will not give way or assist. The fire Exits are not respected during this process and have been known to be blocked too. I would hate to think what would happen if there was an emergency and everyone had to evacuate the shop. I would NOT recommend shopping here if you have any kind of disability, my advice is, go elsewhere and try another store.
It seems that this Aldi always gets the left overs from other stores. Fruit and vegetables never fresh or full. Special buys always late yet other colchester store has them. Its a really disappointing shop.
I want to leave a review for one of the store managers, Rebecca. She was so kind to me when I lost my phone in store, she helped retrace my steps and was comforting and non-judgmental. My phone was found a few days later and she contacted me straight away! Thank you so much for your help and your time, you are a credit to the store!
You are lucky to have one of the best staff members in existence. Today on the tills as we bought our shopping, a staff member was singing 'they call me Luchie, that's not my name' having a little dance and a great chat with every single custome that came through his till. He has a wild and infections energy, that man deserves a raise!nnThank you for making our day
