Did self checkout and the clerk asked if I wanted a bag. I told him I already had one. He then asked to check my bag? Like if I was shoplifting or something. I thought this was super rude. I've been coming here for three years but I'll never go again.
Beware if you're a person of colour, they'll profile you and check your bags. They'll not check you if you're white! Seems humiliating and unnecessary. You don't need to check my bag every time I come shopping! I make my own honest living and I'm paying for my groceries, I'm not a thief! P.S this is the third time and all three times I waited there to see if the cashier is going to check anybody else and when I complained they said it was the policy!nYet they haven't checked any white person! Disgusted that this happens in 2024!
Absolutely fantastic interms of price on available products. Few products were missing here, for example kitchenware. But again, I must admit my limited knowledge about the product line in which Aldi operates. In that case, you can ignore my later comments about missing products at this place.
