Was not busy. Didn't use self scan today but last time I used it was quick doing my shopping and self scan was easy to use. Had alcohol today and normally have to get assistance. Lots of empty boxes so looks as if been busy earlier. Avoid lunch time.
Lovely store set up but very rude and unhelpful staff. Gossiping and being no help in the middle of aisles. I was at the self check out today and a woman was peering down my neck making sure I was scanning everything like I’m some criminal. also the dates aren’t the best on the foods which I found strange as other aldis aren’t like that.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from staff and management. If you are a person of colour do not attend this store as they will discriminate against you and defend their own staff for this disgusting behaviour. Unbelievable that in 2024 we are still experiencing racism and discrimination like the past. The store is not welcoming as a person of colour and everyone was so hostile to begin with. Then the employee named DAN had no name badge either refused service to us and closed the till as soon as we started unloading our shopping and asked us to move and once we went on the other till he started serving other customers. I went to complain to manager who showed no acknowledgment and went on to defend his behaviour. She not once said she will look into it and investigate. All this must have been captured on CCTV. DAN also went on to say to my husband that he is just moaning to his face. I mean what is with equality ACT. Aldi I expected better as a regular customer and I am very disappointed.
Staff helpful and friendly. Store very clean and tidy. Not busy.
Aldi is my favourite of the German twins : . Stock always good range and nice . Always good home n wear items normally , seem to have things you are after at that time , happened so many times lol .
