A good ALDI which is obviously competitively priced plus features well presented stock in a modern store. Pretty typical of most other ALDI shops and it's quite nice to visit. As per usual, they always seem short of staff and have issues with getting a trolley, stock replenishment and getting items flung at you at the tills but this is the same in all discounted supermarkets like this I suppose.
Lots to see and explore along this coastal stretch of the North west. Plenty of places to see and do and places to buy a meal.nWe called into this Aldi for some fruit and veg and a drink for later in the day. Not far from the beach and on site parking
Excellent. Hard working staff and very helpful when asking them to locate food I couldn't find.
Still like Aldi but I'm feeling that the quality is declining. My local store often looks like it needs tidying up. It's busy most of the time and seems to always look messy. It had a refurb not too long ago with the new fridges style. I understand they say they are better for the environment and I'm obviously not against that but they do slow the shopping down when people can't see what they want or can't decide what to by or where to find it. The 'oceans' of empty cardboard boxes in the fridges doesn't help. You might realise I find it very frustrating and I am drifting toward local butchers and greengrocers more and buying online. My time shopping at Aldi is coming to an end.
It may be cheap but produce is very poor quality . 2 fillet steaks or what Aldi class as fillet steak cooked straight in the bin totally in edible. M & S all the way for me
