What a genius he was. Who knows what more he could have achieved if he wasn't betrayed by the country he saved...

Memorial could do with a cleaning but the statue is great and the gay village is the perfect place to put this memorial. Google does have it located in the wrong part of the garden, the statue is in the centre. Google says it's in the place where there is an HIV/AIDS memorial equally as important and lovely btw.

A humbling memorial to possibly the most persecuted scientist of modern time. Sits quietly in this beautiful Manchester city park. Good for a quick rest

Quiet park in the middle of the city with a memorial for one of the greatest minds of humanity.

Absolutely worth a visit! It is nothing exceptional to see but that's not the point. Sadly on our visit there was a construction site directly in front of it which didn't allow us to take pictures from further away. But the bench was still accessible and we took some great pictures.

Quirky and cool.  Be careful though lots of unscrupulous characters around
