I use Akar taxis all the time, I find them to be very pleasent people and always accommodating to my needs, they are always on time and do their best to to get me to my destination comfortably and on time, I will only use Akar for my taxis in the future

Our very first visit to Isle of Wight was so joyful and enriching except for the unhappy and unfriendly behavior of AKAR taxi cab driver who arrived to pick up us from Adgestone Camping and Caravanning site on 10/09/2017 afternoon. We were forced to re-plan our scheduled trip to Osborne due to unpleasant and windy weather conditions carrying the infant child, to the nearby Adgestone wineyard. The taxi cab arrived that afternoon and since it was not right on us to cancel the booked cab and disappoint him, we told the driver to take us to the nearby wine yard. The unfriendly and ill mannered driver was abusing us stating "Don't call us again", and demanded 30 pounds for the short trip to the nearby wine yard which is hardly 1 mile away from our camp site. The earlier customer service review also ridiculed us saying that "one mile is just outside the camp site and we could walk". Even one mile is too lengthy a distance for an infant child to walk and it is up to the passenger(s) to decide whether to walk or not to walk. Any customer service executive is supposed to show utmost politeness and mannerism to a client who approach them for a service and they should be well mannered not to express or talk any word which would hurt the inner feelings of a client, through any media. We appreciate anyhow the honest actions of another cab driver who was kind enough to return the lost mobile to us even though it was not a voluntary action on his part, and occurred upon our enquiry and on payment of tip.
