AJK was contracted for me via Mercedes/RAC and Chris M came promptly when he got the job. Being stranded by the A1 in -2 was a very stressful situation but Chris was incredibly nice and made us feel at ease and was brilliant to chat to on the long way back home. He sorted everything out and genuinely couldn’t have provided better service. Thanks

My car broke down last week coming out of Kelso. The AA contacted Thompson’s. They came earlier than they said they would. The auto recovery mechanic was polite, friendly and explained very clearly what was wrong with the car. It was a temporary fault and he made sure I got back to my mechanic in Kelso without any further problem. An excellent service.

Would just like to say a big thank you to both drivers who relayed my car today from Alnwick castle to Newcastle. Excellent service, sorry I forgot to get your names. Thanks again from the Thompson family.

Superb service after our tyre problems. Lots of good advice from Dean on our options and then took us speedily to the garage at Alnwick. On the road again fat quicker than we anticipated at the outset of the problem.

Got towed home by AJK Thompson on Saturday night after waiting over 4hrs for the RAC to help. Once they finally sent the job to these guys they were here within 20mins and got me home. They also gave me the card of a recommended tyre company who were fantastic. Super helpful service, i wish the RAC had contacted them earlier in the night, but absolutely can't fault AJK Thompson and team for that.

Absolutely brilliant service from AJK Thompson tonight, ended up on the A1 with two tyres needing replacing. They showed up so quickly and easily sorted out a solution for us. I didn’t catch the lovely guys name but he was an absolute lifesaver and I can’t thank him enough!

I received absolutely top class service from the lads at AJK on a recent trip to Seahouses. They had me back on the road with a new shock absorber within a few hours so I could make my journey South as planned. Thanks To Chris and the team.

Feel bad but honestly can’t remember the lads name who came to pick me, my partner and my baby up, hopefully you can fill in the blank for me? 1900hrs 24/07/2022 on the A1. Honestly what a guy this man was, was really helpful and very understanding with the position I was in! Good conversation too witch help distract me on the way back home! Honestly couldn’t have been nicer!

I arrived in our Hymer with my wife in a total state of distress...she could smell petrol and knew we were minutes away from bursting into flames...then out walked Chris,..he was like a night in shining armour,explaining it was a diesel engine,so unlikely to happen... he then proceeded to fix the problem,while telling jokes and recounting previous life stories & experiences.He's got  a humorous and can do attitude! All the team at AJK T's were great...from Nelly to Chris it was a delightful efficient experience. thanks everyone!..and thanks for the tip on saving fuel in the future...I've shared it!

Dean was an absolute star in getting us back on the road. He went above and beyond our expectations by giving us helpful advice and suggestions to resolve our problem as soon as possible. He even recommended a place for us to stay while our campervan was out of action and kept our spirits up with his cheeky and cheerful demeanor.
