I used to go to Ahmed for years, gave up and thought after 4 years they deserved another chance... Well worth it, as a diabetic the pathia was always too sweet, tonight I had a try of my husbands pathia and it was THE MOST AMAZING one I have eaten in over 15 years, the depth of flavour was icredible, the meat was so tender and the service was really good. Well worth trying, I would reccomend to all who love the authentic flavour of a good curry.
Great quality food Though having the kitchen door ajar is a bad idea because witnessing a cook scoop up some food into his mouth then wiping his hand across his face and coughing rather put me off.
Don't bother- prices are so high now and our order was wrong £40+ for two curries. Its just not worth it
We have recently started to order our meals here and have found the food to arrive hot and tasty. The email system used to keep you updated on your order is first class and much better than many other delivery services. The menu is extensive and ordering could not be easier, you simply do it online and it could not be easier. Thoroughly recommended.
Foul to the most extreme level. I encountered chefs snorting, coughing up phlegm and sneezing in the kitchen while worryingly cooking meals. I cancelled my order at the earliest opportunity.
New to this area found this wonderful place that delivers to us in Hardingham when no one else does staff friendly food delicious we loved it highly recommended
This is the best Indian in town for me. I’ve tried them all and always collect and they’re always ready at the time stated. The food is perfect and hot. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
This restaurant has above average curry though a few things cause grave damage to this. I have been coming here for years and this has been due to what is tasty food, however, on my last few visits while waiting reading newspapers just a few feet away from the kitchen I have been quite disturbed especially on my last visit. On my last visit around a month ago I encounted what was an unusual amount of ' snorting ' of the nose by chefs preparing the meal's just a few feet away. While I don't suggest that there was anything malicious taking place here it did shock me a little though many of the fine tasting meals previously eaten from here helped me to brush this aside. I arrived today and decided once again to wait out from the cold though was ' groused out ' by what was a horrendous and uncontrolled barrage of frenzied sneezing coming from the chef in the kitchen and on one particular huge sneeze, the chef's companion burst out laughing obviously thinking that the sneezing was hilarious. If you are going to sneeze and snort when preparing food my view is that it should be subdued to the absolute minimum as it does indicate possible issues. For example, the question of what could possibly be so hilariously funny about someone sneezing while preparing othe peoples food does arise and to me you would only laugh in this way if something untoward had just happened. Due to the obvious nature of curry, it would be impossible to know if hygiene breaches took place during these episodes which is why I will not be eating here anymore. The curry did eventually taste good as usual and there is obvious cooking experience here though you can have the ' best tasting curry in the world ' and not really enjoy it knowing the above mentioned habits and for this reason, I was in the unusual position of not eating what I would have thought was a nice curry if I had had it delivered and not been waiting reading newspapers just a few feet away in the reception. In fact, I was only able to eat a few mouthfuls before simply not being able to eat anymore. This is why I will not be eating any of these ' tasty curries ' anymore and will be intead attending Roti in Norwich who are an authentic Bangladeshi of a very high manerism standard. Sorry Ahmed Spice !
We loved our takeaway from here. We had to enquire with the owner who went through all the menu to tick off the vegan dishes. He was very helpful. We'd previously phoned around other places without success. The food was delicious, so this will be our takeaway in future.
Amazing!! We've been to quite a few curry house's around Norfolk, and this is definitely one of the best!! Onion bhaji's are incredible! Honestly, would recommend and will definitely being returning!! Thank you!
