DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE NATURAL HAIR. i don't know why this place is labelled as an afro salon on google when they don't even promote it at the actual salon. the lady didn't want to admit that she didn't know what to do with natural hair and i ended up having my hair straightened. she detangled my hair with a roller brush and and rattail comb from the roots. it pulled and shedded so badly, all of which she said is normal. she kept saying my hair was 'matted' 'nappy' and 'knotted' so i don't understand why she would agree to do it. even though the end result 'looked good' my hair still shedded badly, started frizzing as soon as i left and looked too thin straight. plus i got home and realised she charged me the price for long hair £120 instead of short £90 without explaining. i'm very lucky my hair reverted back after washing but i do not consider this place an afro salon or the lady an afro hairdresser unfortunately. save your natural hair and find a genuine afro salon that knows how to look after it properly.

Loved the salon! The staff were really friendly. Janet did my hair extensions and I look and feel fab. I will be back!

the lady did my hair, it all looked lovely but it came out within a week. she does not know how to do braids nicely. less than one star. worst hair i've ever done.

I recently had hair extensions put in my hair by Afro Hairdressing, Hair Extensions and Braiding at the Hair Bar.  It was a excellent experience the staff were very helpful, they explained in great detail about the up keep of the hair extensions and the after care, which I found was very useful.  I will definitely recommend Afro Hairdressing, Hair Extensions & Braiding at the Hair Bar to  my family and friends.
