A freind can't get on with the Internet so he's asked to leave review, he bought a van in December 2022, drive all the way from southeast England Kent, bought the van full years mot with warranty, drive 20 miles to go home and the engine blew up , had to leave in a garage fir aa to recover and take back to the garage, they said they replaced the engine with one from from another the same git from a scrap yard they sent me my van back after waiting for just over 2 weeks, then 2 weeks later after having back the engine virtually blew up again with fuel leaking oil leaking jets tapping and water passing out aswell. They have now have and im waiting fir my full refund which is 5200 pounds if I don't receive this by the end off the week ill be going to a solicitor as you can see by others on here they've and won there case, this isn't a very respectfully business looks to me there just after ya money and whipping out invalid mot,s , steam very clear off this company, ill also be phoning dvla to report on fake mot,s.
Avoid. Go elsewhere cause you’ll regret it if you don’t. So far after only a few months of ownership I’ve paid over a grand on putting things right and that number is still climbing. From missing handbrake buttons, broken speakers to faulty locks you name it. Things that a car dealer would or should no are wrong in the first place and for whatever reason hasn’t fixed them or atleast had the decency to tell you so you don’t discover them issues down the line. Crooks.
I have been using AFD for all my repairs and servicing and MOT for the last 7 years on my old Toyota Rav 4 and the service the owners give you is second to none. They even came to collect my car in the morning and returned it the same afternoon. A genuine and honest garage at a low cost. Just the best.
Don’t waste your money. They gave the van a MOT and within 200 miles I’ve had to replace tyres, brakes and wheel bearings. Ive also noticed the exhaust has a split too
We purchased a car from AFD Dominic and Farhad. The car immediately had problems and even though AFD sold the car with a guarantee they did nothing about the problem, just pretended to look at the car. So we took them to Court and won! We would never purchase a car from this Company ever again!
Over the last 10 years i have had my DAB radio transferred from one car to another 4 times by AFD. Has always been a fast, friendly, efficient, decent job at a very fair price. I only wished i lived closer so i could get them to do the mechanics on my car. The ultimate compliment; would i buy a second hand car from these guys? Absolutely definately.
My car had some electrical problems. Tough it might be serious and asked them to check. My English wasnt very good and they asked me to leave a car for few hours. I did some shopping in that time and i did walk up and down the road. Seen my car on the street all the time. Maybe i missed a bit when they took my car in to the service but it was realy a bit. At the end they finally called me and told i can collect my car. They charged me 70 for just leaving a car and maybe changing a fuse
We bought a little Vauxhall for my daughter from this garage about a year ago. It has been a great car and has never let her down. They recently serviced and MOTed the car for her at a very reasonable price which was a help as she is a student nurse. We were so happy with the service that we bought a family car from them last month. Highly recommended.
Haphazard, bullying and untrustworthy. Following the purchase of my vehicle it broke down literally hours later and before getting home! AFD took it back to make a repair only for it to break down 6 days later same symptoms of clutch failure After 5 weeks of stress and abusive phone calls from them, they finally backed down and refunded me in full. Know your consumer rights Consumer Rights Act 2015, take advice from Citizens Advice and write to them in a matter-of-fact way and don't back down. You'd be better advised not to use them in the first place though!
I brought an Audi TT from this garage. The garage had claimed a service had been done and all was good. Later found out the brakes were dangerous and the service had either not been done or had been done incorrectly- wrong spark plugs, no oil and air filter change. Be very weary. Did take up various under the warranty but no help at all. They did address the fumes escaping into the cabin, this should have been picked up as part of any competent service.
