Advantage Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic

I worked at Ruislip Physiotherapy, Advantage Physiotherapy and Charter Physiotherapy for the past two years and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Paul (the director) and the physio and admin team provided fantastic support in all areas of the job and facilitated my development with regular supervision and in-service training's whilst also funding courses for development such as acupuncture. I had excellent supervisions and personal development reviews throughout my time with planned goals that were really tailored to my career and interests. The team are also Physiofirst members that provide a great opportunity to leanr and gain an insight into the development of physiotherapy in the private sector and annually provide an amazing weekend with lectures from leading physiotherapists across the world. Across the three clinics, there is a regular and diverse range of patients providing an exciting whilst also challenging caseload in addition to allowing you time to provide a tailored and patient centered approach to care whilst also building a valued rapport. If it was not for a relocation to the North, I would have continued to happily work for the company and would see myself remaining in the role for the foreseeable future of my career. I will always value the experience and the development that I have gained from this role that has progressed by career significantly. The company is a fantastic opportunity for any physiotherapist and you would feel a valued member of the team!

Friendly and professional service. Paul helped sort me out after I slipped a disc in my back a couple of years ago and I still see him periodically to keep my middle/upper back mobile and flexible. Always offers the right balance of treatment and a recommended exercise / rehab program and always explains exactly what he's diagnosed, what the root cause probably is, and how to go about improving it.

Having damaged my back whilst pruning hedges, I was very keen to get myself mobile again as quickly as possible in time for a walking holiday a few days later. Kelly and the team did a great job of getting me going again so I was able to enjoy the holiday. I was even able to finish the hedges within a couple of weeks! I'm now largely recovered and have exercises to do to keep the problem away in the future.

I am a very active 40 year old tennis player who even travels internationally to take part in ITF Veteran events. The down side of all this tennis is that I pick up a lot of injuries. I have been coming to Advantage Physiotherapy for just over 2 years now. I first came to Paul with a shoulder injury. At the time I was only able to play up to two matches in a row before my shoulder would give in and I could no longer serve...I have not had any issues with my shoulder for 18 months now. Paul quickly identified the root cause of the problem, initiated the treatment to speed up the recovery and provided a program to prevent the injury recurring. Lately, Paul and the team have been helping me recover from a knee injury. I can't stress enough the confidence I have in the Advantage team to address any physical issues that I may encounter and to get me back on court as quickly as possible.

I have seen Paul at Advantage Physio for a number of rugby related injuries (Knee and Shoulder) and can’t recommend his services highly enough. When further treatment was required, Paul was able to recommend a trusted consultant and provided effective rehab following surgery to get me back into full health.
