A good friendly pub with plenty of atmosphere. Very spacious inside and loads of seating. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Standard menu was adequate and there was a specials board as well. Vegans and vegetarians are also catered for.
Very nice Sunday carvery, nice pub & outside sitting area.
The Admirals has great staff who are very helpful and very polite. If you need anything that they haven't got then they will try and get it for you. The customers are great and easy to talk too and to get along with. The Admirals also is on lower level and easy access for wheelchairs and the like. One other thing is that of you have a dog then they will provide you with a water bowl as dogs are welcome in the pub. The Admirals also have a great function room for multiple uses from meetings to other social gatherings. I would rate them 11 out of ten.
We really loved this place and we will visit again soon great people who run this place couldn't be more friendly hospitality is very good all the staff here are brilliant and are genuinely happy to help :
Six Adults and three children, had the Sunday Carvery.nMeat was so called 'carved' had chunks of meat.nStuffing, had been pushed into a Yorkshire pudding, and was very stodgy.nThe shredded cabbage, was almost raw, and inedible.nFrozen SwedenCarrots tasted as if they had been cooked in the water they may of been sat in overnight.nWas very disappointed, as a couple we have eaten here previously and the food was great.nUnfortunately will not be returning......
