We were more than pleased with Adlington Law when dealing with our equity release. It was a little complicated but they dealt with it efficiently and promptly, always giving us information when it was needed. Thanks also to Samantha Higginson for all her help and guidance, she made the whole thing easy for us.

The team that handled our Equity Release where very helpful and gave us great advice in a clear and easy way- answered all our questions quickly and in an easy way to understand. The solicitor who came to our house Jahagir, was very polite and friendly led us through the paperwork Simply and slowly and made sure we understood everything we where signing- answered all the questions we asked in an easygoing manner, making sure we where happy and understood his answers. Would highly recommend this team.
*If there was a solicitor overviewing our case then they failed to organise the porting over of the ER prior to the day of completion as they left inexperienced paralegals to do the work. *Our house sale nearly collapsed, twice. *Required our family to step in and get the correct information out of the equity release company to the solicitors acting for the sale on the day of completion. We had to make calls to all the other solicitors and fight to ensure the information and actions happened correctly in time as no solicitor at Adlington Law was. *Emails to Adlington Law manager’s, months earlier asking for help and support to be given to their paralegals who were clearly out of their depth, went ignored. The paralegal did not fully understand what porting over was. *2 months of a complaint procedure and they could not provide any evidence to prove their solicitors did anything to ensure our case was managed professionally, especially on the completion day. *Because of the above they did not in my opinion act in their client’s best interest. We have accepted Adlington's apologies and know human error can and will happen. In balance I have to also say they did get the job done in the end. Our case was complicated, 5 sets of solicitors and buying a new build does take longer.
Having re-mortgage many times over the years, I can honestly say this was the quickest and most seamless conveyancing experience I have ever received. I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Becky who was professional, on the ball and super friendly at every step of the way. From my initial contact with Becky all the way through to receiving a call from Ian to advise that everything had completed and all monies transferred, I couldn't have hoped for a smoother service. Adlington Law have handled my Equity Release in a very prompt and efficient manner for which I grateful.
