Accommodation for Bristol Airport

Story

In Acorns Guest House all rooms are en-suite and feature orthopaedic beds with high theadcount linen. We use hypoallergenic pillows and duvets. We are only 500 metres from the airport, with the benefit of not being underneath the flight path, so no noticable aircraft noise.

Guests can enjoy secure parking at Acorns Guest House. We offer FREE transfers to and from the airport 24 hours a day without the strain of traffic delays. We will trasnfer you to the airport and also collect you on your return outside the airport terminal building

The medieval village of Backwell has a long history, appearing in the Domesday book in 1086. Backwell is perfectly situated close to the historic City of Bath, Bristol and Weston-s-Mare. There are great train and bus links.

We stayed in the guest house twin room one night as we had to catch a super early flight next morning from Bristol airport. We were promised free shuttle service at 4:45 am. When we came down next morning we found 2 other guests who had been waiting for their ride since 4:30 am. Having waited together for 20 minutes (calling the driver who was not picking up the phone) and having tried to reach 2 taxi services without any luck we decided to run to the airport in the rain on the road without pavements and in complete darkness (could do this only because we did not have luggage to check in)... Super lucky to reach the airport alive and happy that the plane was delayed as otherwise we would have missed the flight. Never staying in this place again. One should not offer a free shuttle service if it cannot be assured. We hope that the other two guests did reach the airport somehow as they had big bags to carry.

First time of using this guest house. Excellent, ideal place to stay if you have an early flight from Bristol. Very comfortable rooms, breakfast not served, room only. Rooms large airey, large bathroom, tea and coffee available. A 5 minute ride to the airport. Good value.

Stayed here with friends before flying from Bristol Airport.Excellent for transfer and comfortable modern rooms.
