Story

Acorn Farm offers a fun and educational day out for all the family in Kirkby, Liverpool.

There's lots to see and do at Acorn Farm! Meet and feed the animals, check out the 2 fun-filled play areas or take a stroll through the woodland walk. During weekends and Knowsley school holidays, horse rides and small animal petting sessions are available for a small extra charge (see below).
Our animals include sheep, cows, goats, pigs, horses and chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs and even meerkats! We’re a working farm, so we often have baby animals including lambs, goat kids, piglets and chicks to see too.

Other facilities include a cafe serving delicious home-cooked meals, farm shop selling souvenirs, refreshments and free-range home produce and a garden centre.

It's a small farm. Great for kids. You can have a day out with great experience for kids. You can feed the animals, pet them, and even ride on a horse. All the animals are well tamed. They love to be pet. There's a small play area as well. The entrance is 4 per adult and 3 for kids above 12 mo. Car parking is free
Excellent place, perfect for my toddler. We were there over 3 hours, he was absolutely made up. You can tell the animals are well looked after, and the farm is really taken care of. Food in the cafe was great quality and prices are reasonable too. Full day out for less than £15 :
It was good enjoyed feeding all the animals the chips are out of this world was missing the cows need to get the cows back but other then that it was good I also be friended a sheep
Well I only passed my driving test 2 weeks and first place we came across was Acorn Farm so took the kids Today and what a wonderfully well run farm it is, brilliant experience and lovely sausage barm in the Cafe too. My kids enjoyed it and so did their parents. highly recommend anyone to visit for a day out.
I've take my grandkids here and they love it. Very friendly staff too. Will be going again
This is a lovely little farm. I don't think it would be any good if it rains, there's no cover other than the little cafe/gift shop. Reasonably priced. Wish the horse rides weren't spaced so far apart. We had just missed the first one and had done everything, played on the park, had something to eat and was ready to go a good 45 minutes before the second slot was on. Nice food. We will go here again. Looks like they have special needs employees working here, which I just thought was lovely
We have been to acorn farm a few times now and we love it every single time. Its so affordable and a really nice size for younger children. The farm has recently been extended with more enclosures for sheep and goats and this was a really nice addition for a walk around and to feed them, our 3 year old loves being able to feed them. It was also the first time he had a horse ride which was great. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. The cafe would be better if it was bigger but there are plenty of food options. The little garden centre is also really nice to have a look at buying some plants which are all really good prices. I know for sure we will be visiting a few more times during the summer.
May not be the biggest or most varied farm, but such a lovely one, and the best sausage barm I've ever had! Our little boy loves running round both the farm and the little wooded area, well laid out seems to have an overspill car park a bit further down, and staff are friendly.
Lovely little place to take the grandchildren to at half term to feed the animals. Entry prices are reasonable for the kids but in my view a little excessive for accompanying adults, as was the price for the quantity received of the goat and chicken feed, however the kids had fun as you can see.
Lovely day. Not a lot of animals there this time. Hopefully it'll fill up a bit. Animals well looked after. Very reasonable garden centre. Limited snack meal menu in cafe with some nice cakes.
