All that glitters isn't golden I've been following this business for a number of years and what lies beneath the surface can be considered eyebrow raising this is a ruthless operation, there's hardly any competition in the area, this isn't healthy. Former members of staff in the card gaming clubs have been seen going out the back and brokering the best deals on new stock. There needs to be safeguarding as to how certain people directly linked to the shop can obtain massive portfolio's of collectors cards to the tune in tens of thousands. This store has had some break ins and i cannot help thinking its the subject of disgruntled customers. This area of business needs some healthy competition could come in the form of a bigger company, "this business needs to try harder with its regular customers base". Familiarity breeds contempt :Sorry:

Ace is a comic shop, not in the sense that Forbidden Planet is a comic shop but a real honest to god comic book shop. There is an extremely large back issue section that covers everything from Spider-Man and Batman to Doctor Who and Saga. The staff are approachable and more than willing to back order issues, import or help you anyway they can including sending you to other places that may have what you're looking for. They have a large selection of board games and pop vinyls and other general pop culture merchandise.

Great store with a huge variety of comics, graphic novels, board games and other geeky miscellanea. Well worth a visit whatever your interests. Even if you don't plan to buy anything, just looking yields all kinds of interesting things which can captivate the imagination (which is clearly the best way to buy anything)
