Don't be fooled by initial impressions – Accommod8 is all about getting your money. At first, we thought Accommod8 seemed nice, but don't be fooled. Once you're locked into the contract, they show their true colors. We left our house in better condition than when we moved in, yet were hit with outrageous charges upon leaving. Despite dealing with numerous issues throughout our tenancy, like broken door handles that trapped my roommate in her room overnight only for her grandad to eventually rescue her a day later, the company took their time responding. Two days later, they asked if she was still stuck in the room! The property had issues from the start – dead rats outside, moldy walls poorly plastered over, and more. When we moved out, they claimed carpets needed shampooing despite no wear and tear, charged for items that were in the house when we moved in, and slammed us with other unjust fees. Trying to discuss this with them was pointless. They even charged us for requesting repairs on things like the washing machine, which broke through no fault of our own. As students, you expect a "student company" to be supportive, but instead, Accommod8 seemed more focused on squeezing every penny out of us. Since moving to a private landlord, we've had no issues. Save yourself the headache and avoid Accommod8 would be the best advice I could give to a fellow student who doesn’t have the room for money to be taken without cause.
Had some issues with mold, pests and general wear and tear but these were addressed. Living near uni and the city centre was great. Overall a good company to rent from while a student.
Pretty happy! They are attentive and they are happy to listen to our problems. Very cheap!! But the damp in the house is terrible, however we were moved to a new house so cant complain too much
property at arundel was nice and refurbished although problems with silverfish. Maintenance staff very friendly and helpful. problems speaking to those at office not very understanding, also few issues with heating yet to be resolved
really enjoyed my experience living here as a third year student. It’s the perfect location to be close to the library and university buildings. It is also very convenient for its closeness to the train station and the city centre.
Houses are not well furbished eg. no bedside tables, kettle, toaster etc. and lots of mold even at move in. Maintenance is quick but charges are very high for very small issues eg. £42 to unblock one drain, despite being the company being 'student friendly'
Good affordable price for students, ideal location for uni of liverpool, speedy maintenance repairs however we have had more issues with the house than generally expected. Even though accommod8 have come and fixed them reasonably quickly it is still inconvenient. 69 Smithdown Lane, Williamson Court
Exceptionally cheap accommodation for students living on a budget... or are you suffering from a lack of student loan? and government assigned compassion Accommod8 are the people for you. Comfy living, high end standards and great reciprocated care. They work around the clock to make sure you are taken care of you. Depending on your location, the going prices are considerably cheaper than halls, with bills included and if you are looking to live with friends, the confidence in service they provide truly makes all the difference. A great company provising a polarising experience for students all around.
Very enjoyable experience, would HIGHLY recommend to any students going into their second/third years of university. Incredibly friendly staff/agents, very happy to be staying for another year!
Great experience renting. All the staff are lovely and very helpful with the application process. All maintenance problems are sorted efficiently and the house itself is great to live in.
