I used Alan Knight for my purchase and he was very competent and helpful, including pointing out that my road was a private one, whereas it appears my neighbours may not have been advised of that by their own Solicitors, causing them difficulties. He is very diligent and caring.

I decided to use Access Law for the purchase of my house. My husband and I are first time buyers and so needed a little bit of guidance through the process. I googled lots of firms and received lots of quotes, Access Law weren't the cheapest but they were good value, and I am glad I paid the small additional amount to have a solicitor in Southampton for ease of signing/dropping off paperwork. We were very pleased with the service we were given. Alan was always professional and helpful - he was available on the phone or via email whenever I needed him and answered all of my questions. This doesn't seem the case with most solicitors so it was very reassuring. He was quick to prepare the documents we needed and, unlike many other firms, did not charge the £50 fee per person to sort out our Help to Buy ISA bonus payment. There was a slight issue with a restrictive covenant on our property which he handled carefully and advised us at every turn. Overall I would highly recommend Access Law as a buyer, and will most likely return to them when I need to sell this property.

I recently engaged Access Law for their conveyancing services after they had been recommended. I have been pleased with the way they acted on my behalf. I found them to be knowledgeable, efficient and quick. I had a complicated issue concerning a property charge and a difficult ex-partner. They were effective at handling a sensitive situation in a professional and trustworthy manner. Consequently, I had no problems or delays. I fully intend to use Access Law again and would recommend them without reservation.
