Friendly staff. Bar for drinks. Typical chapel layout. Tables downstairs and you can book a table if you order food. Which is basically pizza. You will get a better view. Upstairs seating is a bit cramped and some seats restricted view. Great acoustics and although I was upstairs really enjoyed. Definitely go again.
What a flipping venue. People who live here are so lucky to have this on their doorstep. It is absolutely worth a visit, but book your taxi for home. Pizza is amazing. Music amazing. Beer could be improvednnRydyn ni yng nghanol unman
This great little venue in an old church makes for an intimate and pleasant live music experience. A good bar, pizza and a friendly welcome on arrival. It was our first time but would definitely go again, especially being local to the area.
It is not the greatest venue for music gigs. Unless you can book a table on the ground floor the viewing is very restricted on the upper level, even though you have to pay the same price for a ticket. Being a converted church the seating is uncomfortable, church pews which with drink holders attached to them you could not move without knocking a drink over, and having to stand up every time someone wants past. Went to see When Rivers Meet tonight, the acoustics were probably good for a church, but for a rock gig the bass was not there and sounded more like a gospel gig. For the right genre of music it could be good, seen a few bands there, Royal South were great as we managed to get a table on the lower level.
Lovely little venue with very friendly staff. Went to see Ian McNabb the Icicle Works. Sound was good. It's so small you can see from anywhere.nCouldn't get a pizza table unfortunately.nOnly small negatives were hard seats, big queue for the tiny gents in the interval no queue for the ladies. Would be nice to have WiFi, as there's no phone signal.nUpdate: Been 5 times now. Always excellent. Don't be late, as they must finish by 22:30 due to a curfew.
