I visited the Mobility Superstore after the first lockdown looking for an over-sofa table. The staff were really friendly and although I didn't purchase anything in the end, I would certainly go back. One day we will all be old or in need of care, and it's good to know places like this exist.
I couldn’t thanks amy and Kay enough for my new wheelchairs they went above and Beyond to help me get what I wanted and something that would fit my needs xx love this store
Recently bought a mobility scooter and the whole experience has been excellent. No pressure at all to buy, a great team who knew what they were talking about and let us have a couple of try outs before buying. Delivered by 2 lovely guys who went out of their way to ensure we knew there was no pressure and actually brought it back again after we’d had a think about it. I also noticed some lovely, very comfortable armchairs in shop that would be perfect for a doze or to help anyone struggling to get out of their chair. Would highly recommend.

What a lovely place to shop. Greeted with very very helpful staff Kay and her colleague. Kay was helpful and helped us find what we required. She was a pleasure to deal with, smiling and easy to chat to. We were able to find just what we needed.
Always so much stock in here. So many bits and bobs you would never think about but when you see them you realise how useful they would be. Large car park at the rear is a welcome thing these days too. Friendly helpful service from the staff. Great place.
Visited here on two occasions. I purchased a walking stick last year and a Blue Badge wallet 4 days ago. Very helpful staff who were quite happy to have a chat with my Hubby and I. Definitely recommend this shop.
I went into Ableworld Buxton Road Stockport with my Mother in Law looking for a rise and recline chair. Kay, the store manager, couldn’t have been more helpful. Checking that the chairs we were looking at were suitable and comfortable. In the end the one we selected was delivered and put in place within 24 hours and my MiL is delighted with it. Whilst we were there I noticed that they also have an extensive product range from hand grips to wheelchairs. Definitely the place to go to for your mobility aids and lovely staff too.
The staff are always really helpful and friendly in this store. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for any aids or advice.
Went into store to have a look at scooters excellent staff have all the information you need to know go out of there way to help you. I would definitely recommend going to this store its handy also to travel to if you need anything else as they just don't sell scooters. In the end we did buy one. So five stars to everyone.
