Story

Abigails Guesthouse is one of Chesterfield’s best kept accommodation secrets, located in a residential area of the historic market town. It is ideally situated at the edge of the Peak District within easy reach of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and the beautiful Peak District National Park.
The business was established in 1989, and is still run by its original owner Gail Rodgers.

Abigail's, Gail and all the staff pride themselves in providing a warm welcome to their guests, offering them clean comfortable accommodation in one of the seven bedrooms.
All rooms are en-suite with baths or showers, and have tea and coffee making facilities, digital TV and free wi-fi.

Enjoy and relax whilst taking breakfast in the conservatory overlooking our garden and pond, with views of Chesterfield and the surrounding moorlands.

Just stayed a week at Abigail's Guest House and can't fault it. The room was clean and tidy, everyday it was cleaned and fresh towels if you wanted them. Breakfast was plentiful and varied from fresh fruit, cereals to a full English breakfast and everything in between. The owner Abigail was very accommodating and I would definitely stay again if in the area.
