Aberdeen is home to its a lot of tourist attraction and lots to see and lots of memories to be made. The people are warm, friendly and ever ready to help with a big smile. The city is easily accessible as everywhere leads to somewhere.nThere are lots of street shopping and large shops. A good night life. There is a lot of places to visit for those who love a good night out. Multiple bars and pubs that never run dry and drinks at affordable rates and cheap rates depend on where you go.nThere are also lots of old structures and monuments still standing, old places to go and a lovely harbour that you can arrange a boat ride.nThere is the famous Aberdeen FC stadium to visit or watch a game and there is a large golf area for golf lovers.nThere is also the Aberdeen beach and the Codonas arcade and amusement part which is non stop fun for the family.nThere is the gallery, the marine museum and the historical highland museum. There is also the Duthie part with an awesome winter garden.
I travel through Aberdeen semi regularly and the staff at the Union Square train station have always been, and always are, excellent. I'm a power wheelchair user and I'm visually impaired and the staff always assist me in the way that works best for me. They're all excellent, helpful, friendly and cheerful. Thanks very much guys.
Easy to navigate, great connection to union square for everything you could need on a change over. Seating I'd a bit limited but otherwise it's covered and easy enough to spend a few hours here if needed.
Decent size of train station located in centre of city attached with large brand new shopping mall and cinema as well as offers a wide variety of food options. Everything under one roof making it very convenient for travellers. Staff was ok, busy talking to themselves rather than help commuters. There’s a ticket office but not much information on website. A bus terminal is next to train station for more local destinations.nnHowever, the station has couple of downsides as well. It was snow and freezing cold so do the station. There wasn’t much heating at statin not even in waiting room where just few seats available. Toilets were not up to decent standard and on top of that you have to pay for it. which could be improved. The platforms are open design, only partially sheltered which making it uncomfortable in freezing and cold windy weather. Hope in future they’ll make things better for travellers.
Great train station. So central. Easy to locate taxi rank. Plenty of convenience shops. A sainsbury local across the road.
