An amazing art gallery!! I love how interactive it was - I especially enjoyed the still life drawing section! I wish more galleries were like this; I live in Edinburgh and I know for a fact our national art gallery could benefit from interactive displays as well!

Great place to visit at any time of year.. At moment displaying Mary Queen of Scots casket. If you like shiny things & history. A must see while it's on loan to the Gallery. Also Celebrating Grays School of Art exhibition until April. Plus a great display of pottery & ceramics. Plus lots more. Easily accessible. Lifts Diassability friendly facilities. And cafes top and bottom with lovely views out to Aberdeen city centre. Plenty of toilet facilities also on 3 levels. A jewel in Aberdeen city centre that deserves to be well funded and forever kept alive. Gives so much back to the city on culture history & the Arts. Also plenty of shops in the vicinity plus refirbished union terrace gardens. His majesty's theatre. Central city Libary. Triple Kirks pub. If you live in the city or are visiting this is an excellent city centre starting point to visit and plan the rest of your days adventure. To really soak up the Aberdeen Vibe and get the creative ideas going along with the useful information at hand. You would be hard pressed not to find something you like or something of interest in this location. But only one way to find out. Visit and see for yourselves. X

I really enjoyed the Aberdeen Art Gallery, especially the mix of modern art and old paintings. It was very interesting. We left our jackets in the lockers and easily walked around.

Very nice museum!! Defenetly one of my favorite ones! So many art I liked and enjoyd. And the entry is free, only special exhibitions have price.

Marvelous varied exhibits from the impressionists to modernism to abstract expressionism, with pieces local and from afar, in all mediums. I highly recommend starting in the cafe at the top and getting a view from the roof, and then working your way down
