Usually find the company very good and reliable. But the last couple of times the drivers have been rude when i have asked to pay by card. Even though I have previously been told they accept card payments. The last driver made me bank transfer Into his private account.
Booked a taxi a day in advance to make the school run. The booking was accepted. At 8.30 am, the time we booked, there was no sign of the cab. I waited until 8.40am and called. I was told "There is nothing I can do". The cab eventually arrived at 8.58am for a school run! On arrival the driver was mid personal call on his phone and then didn't know the destination. The company were quite happy to take the booking, seemingly aware of the fact that they wouldn't be able to fulfil the service. There is very little point booking with this company if you need to be on time. I guarantee they will be late. Taxi companies in Benfleet protested bitterly about the arrival of Uber to the area and now they have their monopoly they are unable to provide the service they claim. My advice, walk or take a bus.
Ordered a taxi through the Uber app with ABC taxis for my Grandparents on Christmas day, paid for in full on the app and after completing the trip, Sharif the driver demanded they paid double as it was Christmas day after already paying in the app and only let them off for "being old" will not be using again. Disgusting behaviour.
Great service. All drivers are polite and friendly. My child is taken to school and was very nervous but now he isn’t worried anymore as all drives are friendly.
We booked ABC Taxis for a airport transfer requesting a transit sized vehicle as there were 4 adults all with a large suitcase and hand luggage, the trip to Gatwick was a joy, the lady driver was bang on time and very jolly, the return trip was a different matter, despite having our flight details, the pick up was 45 minutes late and when it turned up it was a Toyota Prius estate, I phone despatch and they couldn’t be less bothered, the lady said it is classed as a 6 seater, I explained it’s not a six seater if the back of the car has 4 large cases in it! We were offered no discount and after spending 4 hours on a cramped aeroplane, we had to spend another 2 hours crammed into a car not fit for purpose, the 3 back seat passengers had to have their hand luggage on their lap, I will not be using this company again
Happy to accept and confirm advance bookings, but will then happily turn up late to those bookings because cars are not available in the area, with absolutely no accepting of responsibility or apology. Ridiculous company.Service: Limousines
