I had to attend the surgery for a test yesterday. I was quite nervous due to a past experience and the nurse was wonderful. She talked me through the whole thing and was so kind and understanding. GPs also really helpful and care about their patients.
Having recently moved to the area, I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with the surgery as a whole. Friendly, polite and helpful are just a few words to describe everyone I’ve come across so far. I came from a surgery where I was too afraid to ring up because of the receptionists alone but I can honestly say that so far I’ve been nothing but overwhelmed with the surgery. Drs and pharmacists have gone above and beyond and for the first time in a long time I feel supported
My husband has been seeing the nurse Jennifer a number of times and she goes far and beyond with her care and knowledge. She is so informative and can honestly say we have found her to be a brilliant nurse. An asset to the practice.
I don’t know what’s changed in the past 6-12 months it was a great practise. Don’t get me wrong the medical staff are lovely and some great doctors. Shame the reception/admin staff are so rude and condescending, so rigid and not understanding at all. I think they need to remember they are here to provide a service they are in no way above any of us in station! A bit of flexibility with appointments too, you must call at 8am on the dot for a chance but unless you are retired or part time you may not have the ability to call at 8am on the dot and sit for an hour.
Recently joined this surgery and wanted to say how welcoming and friendly everyone has been. Thank you for making us feel at ease.
Really good pharmacy who provide good service. Shame I can't say the same about the practice itself due to inflexible appointment booking 'rules'. However, the phone back service is very good.
As with all practises they're under immense pressure and we'd all love to be able to make appointments as we used to instead of call on the day, but that's not the world we currently live in. I've always been able to get a same day appointment for me or my family when needed and found the staff helpful and supportive.
Five star service from Nurse Kim on two occasions now. She is amazing! Cheerful, professional, empathetic, understanding, knowledgeable.
I had to give one star to write a review. Otherwise this shambolic excuse of a surgery would not get any rating. From the nurse practitioners to the management there really needs to be a massive overhaul.
Had a really good experience for my first ever appointment at the surgery. Rang at 9, very nice person on the other end of the phone. Was offered app at 11 with doctor and students in attendance. Had a very thorough consultation with the two students who then call in the doctor in at the end for verification of their diagnosis. A very pleasant professional experience. The pharmacy were out of stock for what I wanted but that lady too was an absolute delight to talk to. Marilyn S.
