I loved this vets and taking my max here for nearly 2 years, but few months back I had money issues and had to go on Universal Credit. As this takes 6 to 8 weeks to get paid I missed my £19.00 monthly pet plan payment. Once I had been paid I had to catch up with priority bills and I did explain this to Abbey Vet Team but they sent me horrible letters and told me due to 2 missed £19.00 payments I was no longer welcome in their establishment. Didn't make me feel like a valued client seems they care more about money than my dog so won't be returning.
We have been using Abbey Vets for sometime now for our four cats, together with a number of stray cats we have assisted. We cannot fault the service and care shown to all of the cats we have taken to them for help, all of which have been shown a great amount of care and respect. The professionalism is second to none and the genuine care and attention shown is heartwarming. Abbey Vets genuinely do care for your furry friends and understand exactly what they mean to people like us, knowing that the cats and other animals are more than just pets, they are a part of your family.
Had a very good 3 weeks of puppy training/club. Very well organised and met some lovely puppy owners and their pups. Teddy enjoyed it too. Highly recommend the practise.
They gave our Staffie excellent care & we’re always there with advice whenever we needed it. Would happily recommend them to others

I genuinely wouldn't trust any other veterinary practice, other than Abbey Vets. The team are absolutely brilliant, so knowledgeable, kind and very good with our pets. My dog is scared of vets, so they have offered him special visits where he will see them just for fuss and treats, to build his trust. The service and care offered is second to none. I honestly cannot recommend them enough. Great team.
A veterinary practice in a former Royal Observer Corp nuclear bunker! Great service from reception through to seeing the Vet/Nurse. Great monthly animal care packages available. Parking on the premises. Our dog was so chilled with the visit she remained asleep throughout.
Earlier today my wife spoke to Laura about our concerns regarding a cat we have just taken ownership off that isn’t chipped and doesn’t like being held or touched. This is the first cat we’ve ever owned that originally belonged to our neighbour and our first really positive communication with a veterinary practice. The point of this message is to thank Laura for being so friendly, patient and listened to her concerns. It’s the first time we experienced a practice that seemed more interested in the issue than only to make money. Laura is a credit to the practice and has won us over should we need your services.
Excellent service from knowledgeable and helpful staff, who care passionately about the animals.
