PLEASE AVOID THIS SO CALLED VET!! I give 0 stars my dog came in for a c-section she had given birth to x6 healthy puppies Dolly was eating and drinking throughout delivering her babies yes she had x2 puppies that needed delivering by c-section but she was fit and healthy, after the procedure we were handed her back 40 minutes later the veterinary nurse said she’s not eating or drinking but she’s better off at home , alarm bells were instantly ringing as I feel she did not receive the care she should have been given, we were also told by the veterinary nurse that there was a lot of rubbish I didn’t understand at the time what she ment but she assured me that it was perfectly normal for a c-section, we took Dolly home she couldn’t move she was constantly being sick she wouldn’t eat or drink all this was apparently normal according to your vet , I called back the next day to be told sorry we’re busy we’ll get back to you within 20mins hours later I had to call back then I was told to bring her back for an anti sickness injection at no further cost to myself which wasn’t true we took her back and was told she’s fine and just keep offering food and water which I’d already told them she’s refused everything but still we were told she’s ok , i pointed out that Dolly had a big black mark on her tummy that wasn’t there before the procedure the vet said it was a bruise , I then asked if the puppies were safe to feed because dolly was obviously not well and she’d been given lots of different drugs by this point, we were told specifically they must feed from mum or she could become unwell , again massive alarm bells ringing, we did as they advised even though we didn’t agree Dolly declined rapidly we received no aftercare no real advice with a £3500 bill this should have been standard procedure I feel they didn’t care at all , I had to take dolly to another vet who told me not to expect her to survive as she was infected from the inside out the black mark wasn’t a bruise as haygate had led us to believe it was infection which was life threatening she spent 5 days in hospital on drips and it was touch and go , the puppies all died from feeding from their infected mother haygate told us to make sure they feed from mum I was unable to work for 3 weeks myself and my children have had to go through hell , I already payed £1500 and totally regret giving them a penny and now they send debt collectors to me after killing 8 babies and almost killed their mum with an added £400 for good measure BUTCHERS!!!
Marley, a 17yr old Jack russell has relapsed after having 20 teeth extracted on Thursday and they quickly gave us an out of hours appointment and him having a temp they have kept him in to observe. The vet was super and explained the possibility of an infection but it can be treated. They gave me confidence for him.
Make sure you have an agreed charge before getting anything done. They operate on a word of mouth basis of what they will charge you.nnAfter explaining the issue of an incorrect charge, the vet straight up lied on what was said and used some of the most bizarre excuses that I don't even feel comfortable stating in this review.nnJust be careful.
Customer services friendly but can be hit and miss when it comes to process. Vets care is very inconsistent and not necessarily reliable.nThey're not always competence on anything but basic and they are very expensive..not all the vets like animals!!
Speedy response and lovely sympathetic staff. A very thorough examination with good advice and treatment. No hesitation in recommending!
