Visited on a Monday around 1:40pm. They shut at 2:00pm and I was hoping that we wouldn’t be getting the leftovers. Far from it though! Lovely, fresh and piping hot chips and the most delicious fish also. Lovely gentleman serving too - helpful and polite. Will definitely return.
This is my local so I use it every few weeks. Cod is consistenly good, chips are more variable from great to pretty average. Portion sizes are big. If you visit you wont end up hungry! Prices very reasonable. Very friendly too.
The staff at abbey fish bar are freindly and helpful. The chips were fairly nice but my donna meat was quite oiley. Overall not a bad spot to stop for a chippy in the sun.Food: 3/5

Served by ravi who was very polite and welcoming can honestly say best chippy ive ever tasted the food was so clean and fresh wouldnt belive it was a chippy in bearwood i had pie chips and mushy peas which was the best greenest mushy peas ever tasted to top it off pickled onion vinegar i challenge you to find a better chippy in the area cause ive tried them all found my new regular thats all i can say Wheelchair accessibility: Great ramp and door width

The food here is second to none, every time I visit a mate who lives in a road opposite I have to go grab a mixed kebab and chips, it’s a bit pricey but it is for sure worth it, I’ve never tasted anything from a chippy so good,Dietary restrictions accommodatedNot sure
This is by far the best chippy via deliveroo local to me xx consistently good choice of food, always piping hot when delivered can not fault the qualityFood: 5/5
This chippy is definitely hit & miss I visited recently The chicken was quite big & greasy, not good for my acid reflux.. The bloke serving had zero customer services.. Won’t be in a rush to visit anytime soon..
