Visited today for Sunday Lunch, food was fantastic, portions were hearty and very tasty. Service was swift and the staff were very friendly. Very cozy and warm with an open fire. What more can you ask for on a cold winters day.
Food and service was very good. Staff friendly and polite. However the coffee we ordered was undrinkable, the milk curddled as soon as it was poured into the coffee. The staff offered replacement coffee, however, I had the price of the coffee removed from the bill.
Accommodating for a last minute booking. Kids Macaroni was tasty but fries were burnt. Sunday roast was really tough and really poor. Portion was OK but veg was not drained properly, expected alot better
Amazing food. Lovely staff. And a good location. Took a little longer than expected to get the food but is more than worth it, highly recommend.
Friendly atmosphere and staff. Comfy surroundings with an open fire to warm the toes as you warm your hackles with a fine range of Malt, Gin, wine, beers and of course coffee. A meal served with a smile and you can always cheer yourself up with a little "blether" or banter with the staff.
Lovely big fish and chips, nice toilets for when I had diarrhoea, able to vape inside I think, would happily visit again, bar tender very lovely young man with big dreams and a Cali cart
Was at a 21st Birthday meal .Food was nice but a few of us had finished our mains when others were still waiting for their food.Young boy was the only member of staff that was polite.The managerss was very rude.Not once did anyone come to table to ask if food ok or take away empty glasses.Was going to have our Birthday cake there but we did it at home was not staying much longer.Would not recommend the place.

Went in tonight for a table of six. Great welcome at the door. Wide range of meals. Food was great lovely place for a family meal. Definitely come back
