This is a charming and well-stocked destination for garden enthusiasts. The center offers a wide variety of plants, gardening tools, and outdoor decor, all presented in a beautifully maintained setting. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to offer expert advice. In addition to the gardening essentials, the on-site café serves delicious meals and treats, making it a great spot to relax after shopping. Whether you're an avid gardener or just looking for a pleasant day out, Stewarts Abbey Garden Centre is well worth a visit.
It’s been ages since we visited here. Stopped on the off chance on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Not very busy. A great range of plants and pots. Inside there’s a fish shop with lots of interesting cold, tropical and marine fish. Great little BBQ and garden furniture area and a decent size restaurant. With inside and outside seating. Easy parking and plenty of help at hand for the composts and aggregates. Drop in and find something more than the usual garden centre offering.
Stewarts is our favourite Garden Centre and also cafe there. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The fact that no dogs are allowed in any area is a massive contributing factor to our very frequent visits here, whether it be for plants, garden items, coffee's or lunch. The cafe staff are always super-helpful to my disabled husband, which is always very much appreciated. The cold drinks & coffees are always fab, the cakes always yummy and the lunch menus are amazing. Thank you Stewarts Abbey Nursery. We love you.
Went today finally if you don't have a big appetite you can have the lighter option. We had tuna mayo sarnies fries and chopped peppers you also get yfruit juice. My only preference prefer sarnies cut in to triangles. But we'll done. Will be back next week. Service was polite and friendly.
Lovely garden centre. Lots of parking and lots of competitively priced plants. The plants were brilliant quality too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my visit here. I didn’t go into the cafe but it’s quite big, smells lovely and the atmosphere and surroundings are great. Will deffo be back if just to go in the cafe!
So many beautiful plants that my garden could not cope if I got all the ones I like. Lovely place to have a wander round. Friendly and helpful staff and a nice cafe as well. Maidenhead aquatics is inside the garden centre with very knowledgeable staff. Worth a visit.
I used to work in this industry and Stewarts were known for really excellent plant areas. I was so disappointed with my visit here. The plant range was really poor. Plant health was terrible with mildew and blackspot running wild. Prices are high and staff presence was non existent. What a shame. This was not just a post weekend blip as my daughter had been a couple of weeks before and warned me how bad it was. Roses are a great indicator of the care a garden centre takes of their stock and these were really bad. Let's hope they pick up their performance in the future.
Came to meet relatives for lunch. The food hall is lovely with plenty of choices. I really enjoyed the jacket potato with a filling. Will definitely be coming back!
Went today and brought an ornament for my garden. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Lots of healthy looking plants and many containers, definitely worth a visit.
We only went into the cafe, which was really busy so must be popular! The portions are huge! We had a sandwich each which were thick filled and came with fries, very good quality food c Saw another couple sharing one main as they were so big!
