A1 went above and beyond on customer service. Thank you all for the hard work you have done on my Freelander. It was a big job to do but A1 is the company to take on jobs like this. We had a couple of issues along the way like all jobs sometimes but that business, but like all great companies A1 they went above and beyond to sort it. Once again thank you for all your hard work and professionalism. Anyone want their car doing the right way this is the company to contact. Paul
The company did a complete shoddy job of "fixing" my clutch and was extortionate compared to others. Also I did not know till I had my mot 6 months later that after a certain amount of miles after a clutch has been fixed, they are supposed to call you back to check the tightening of the clutch or it could go to high and fail the mot. Nobody told me this or called me back. Less than a year later, my car needs a new clutch again. Avoid this shoddy and overpriced extortionate company at all costs!!! Even the breakdown company that had to tow my car away after the clutch gave out on me on a dual carriageway told me to avoid the company as they are too extortionate compared to most and their work is sloppy and shoddy and most of their breakdowns for clutches have been from this company. All the man at A1 clutches seemed more concerned about to me was begging me to like and follow his social media page, write a good review, and give them 5 stars. If I could give minus I would. **RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMMENT** If you think that trying to give all reviewers that don't rate you as 5 star as "bogus" and trying to lie and gaslight by saying they were never a customer of yours then it's not going to fly over here. Of course you don't have record of my Internet name Lady truth because I was not born as lady truth, that is my reviewer name because I give my true and honest reviews of any companies I have had the fortune or misfortune of dealing with. Since you want to snoop on my reviews to try to discredit me then perhaps you should read my bio which states that I only give really good 5 star reviews or expose crooked companies and their crooked practices like yourselves, there is no in-between as my bio clearly states. Had you gave me a 5 star job my review would've been different, I would've been praising your company and it's professionalism, had you gave me an ok job there would be no review because i dont really review ok. But because you are a shoddy cow boy company I will write a review letting people know to be careful if and when dealing with you. A top rated breakdown company warned me about your extortionate rates and poor work when I had to get towed because of the shoddy work your company did and the garage man that did my mot also told me that my clutch was too high, when I told him it was a new clutch only done 6 months ago I was told to go back and that you should have rechecked it after a certain amount of miles which you didn't. That is 2 separate and professional companies, one a top rated tow company and the other a well established garage that both separately told me the same thing, that you did my clutch too high so don't tell me nothing about going to professional garages because they were professionals. You should concentrate on making sure your workers can all do a professional job instead of the shoddy, cowboy crap I was left with.
I have called them today to ask about a quote on a gearbox check and repair in case if they find something faulty. I have been give the price of 600+£ which includes dismounting and mounting to the vehicle. I have explained to them that I got the gearbox off the vehicle, I just need it to be serviced. - No sir we don't do service only, we want to do everything... Probably the business is desperate for money. If you have a gearbox that you want to service/repair, don't waste your time with these guys, they won't help.
I had problems with my clutch.they won't repair with out invoice.thay ask me to come up to check it over.boss is very nice guy but other guys on phone spoke to me disrespectful.i wouldn't speak to a child that way.would I buy off these guys again.i don't know.

IMy car recently broke down, and I still have a 5 year warranty with Kia so contacted them initially. I’d told Brindley Wolverhampton soon after I bought the Kia from them that the clutch wasn’t right, and they assured me that if/when the clutch needed replacing it’d be ok as it’d be covered. When I needed them though, they wanted £180 for collection, and another £140 to just look at it and decide if it’s covered or not. Also they couldn’t fix it anyway for 3 weeks. I wasn’t prepared to pay £320 for them to try and find reasons not to cover it under warranty - so I called A1 clutches instead. I’ve used A1 clutches Tipton several times in the past and have recommended them to others - so it was a no-brainer to go straight to them. They collected the car very quickly, and the recovery driver was very polite and friendly. A1 clutches said it could take a few days, but it was actually completed a lot sooner. When I got the car back it was making a clicking sound when driving, so I contacted A1 clutches again, and they immediately said to bring it in and they’d look at it straightaway. The problem turned out to be nothing to do with the clutch at all, but the tyre. They were still very helpful and recommended someone who could fix the problem straightaway. My car now drives better than it ever has in the time I’ve owned it. It’s a real pleasure to drive it now. I would highly recommend A1 clutches to anyone looking for a company who provide a quick, easy service, and who really care about the quality of their work, and about the customer.
Really helpful was allowed a courtsey car. The clutch was high and I didn't feel comfortable driving it, they changed it right away. Price competetive, very helpful and polite. Brilliant customer service.
Fantastic service received from these guys over the last 2 days, took my van in for a test drive to diagnose a knocking of issue. Issue was diagnosed within the gearbox and the work that was carried out was great van drives like it’s brand new, they also called me to say that there where some other issues they came across once the gearbox was off which was confirmed by them taking a video and sending it over to me, agreed a price and work carried out, can’t thank them enough as my van is my work horse top service
Highly recommend A1 Clutches. Rang them up suspecting an issue with my clutch, after which they took it for a test drive with me and really took their time to identify the issue. Turned out the issue wasn't the clutch and advised me where I could take my car instead. Very honest and reliable people here.
Great service through & through. High level of professionalism & efficiency, did more than required for me as a customer. Would highly recommend
