A SLICE of Cake Cafe

Popped into today for a Monday brunch with my sister. The special was fab, it was a type of pancake with egg and ham and salad. Delicious. It is pancake Tuesday tomorrow so i liked that had a pancake option just can't remember what it was made from; buckwheat maybe? It was gorgeous. Coffee was nice too. My sis had the soup special with parsley, red lentil, hazelnut and chilli oil and chorizo and cheese dish on toast from the lunch menu. She was stuffed. All tasty. Staff friendly too

This was a great little find. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very inviting and friendly. The staff provided us with some additional restaurants and pubs to go to throughout the city.

Menu is distinctive from a lot of brunch spots and the dishes were tasty with decent portion sizes. Good coffee too, but limited seating so get there early !

Very relaxed neighbourhood café with homemade food and fresh ingredients. Nice vibes, friendly staff and interesting menu. Overall, tasty, but not mind blowing.
