Having gained the necessary consents to add a single storey extension to our semi-detached home in Ponteland, we set about looking for potential builders in September 2016. We invited A and S Kerr to provide us with an estimate for the considerable works and we are absolutely delighted that we did. Dave, Andy and Ian were an absolute pleasure to have working for us and precisely nothing was too much trouble.

At several stages of the build we added jobs to the list (sofffits, fascias, guttering, kitchen fitting, additional windows, fixing a drain etc etc etc) and the stock reply from Dave, in cheery refrain, was absolutely guaranteed to be "no problem". I am convinced that had we asked them to build a full-sized replica of the Rialto Bridge it would have been up the next day, complete with water feature and gondolas.

Not only were they incredibly polite, utterly trustworthy and extremely capable, the whole build was also completed from start to finish in under 3 months. Unlike many other contractors, the estimated price (make that the reasonable estimate) was also honoured, consequently, we simply could not be happier with our choice of builders. Finally, Dave also took on the role of project manager leaving me free to do what I do best - make the brew. If you are looking for a cowbow builder who takes you for a ride and does a moonlight flit, please look elsewhere.
