I cannot recommend A R Adams enough. We used the Thorpe Bay branch and there was nothing you could fault. The lads on the day were perfect. There but not there. Caring and kind. And helping with lost item afterwards. Thank you for your support.
I would like to say a big 'thankyou' to all at A.R. Adams, for the helpful, friendly way you looked after my family and me for my beloved mum's funeral. Michelle was really helpful talking through the options, and giving lots of good advice, and was always on the end of a phone or email, when we had any queries or concerns. On the day, despite the inevitable Covid restrictions, the staff were respectful and discreetly waiting in the background for any requests or questions we had, and it was a lovely dignified service. More than anything it was the personal touches that helped us through this really tough time - offering to return mum's ring before the funeral day to remove any further distress on the day, and for the lovely order of service with a little 'pencil sketch' of mum's favourite dog, which was such a poignant and beautiful addition. I would definitely recommend A.R. Adams to anyone looking for a company who will go the extra mile.
Donna, Luke and colleagues at Thorpe Bay were so kind, caring and thoughtful. They supported us with the funeral of my late mother. It was a tough time made bearable by their respectful and compassionate professionalism. Donna’s people skills were very impressive indeed and nothing was too difficult for her to arrange. Working from a smart phone only without a computer/printer wasn’t easy for me but she enabled us in our hour of need. Her recommendations for ancillary services were also spot on. Luke’s calm and respectful presence on the day was also much appreciated. It was the family approach with the personal touches that made me realise that I really must write a review for them, something I very rarely do. They may not be the cheapest in town but they are worth far beyond every extra penny, we realised that truth within the first few hours. We were truly grateful for their services - Maxine
Faultless, professional, sensitive care at all times from Luke Adams and his excellent team. Very moved to see him outside his office bowing to the cortege as it went by. Can't recommend them highly enough
Adams are the most caring,supportive and helpful company I have ever come across, nothing was too much trouble, and Michelle and luke at the thorpe Bay branch really did go that extra mile, on the day of my mum's funeral everything went smoothly with no stress, I would really recommend them for when you need a funeral director for your loved one.

Adams carried out the funeral of my mother then later my father. I have left a note with my Will that they should arrange my funeral when the time comes. I can give no firmer recommendation than that.
