A Plan took over South Coast in Bitterne and quoted me over £700 for my car renewal when I paid £370 last year! I went back to an insurer SAGA direct as I use them on another car and was quoted £550 for like for like. I will not go back to A PLAN although the girl I rely with was very helpful.
Not great communication between them, the insurance company and repairing garage. 3 months since accident and still waiting for car to be returned. We've had to do majority of negotiations ourselves. Probably move next renewal.
I recently visited A plan in Fareham. Ryan was extremely helpful and managed to get me a massive discount that was quoted by my previous Car Insurance Company. Highly recommended
Wanted to change my car and A-Plan insurance for the new because they shut Saturday afternoon and do not work the rest of the weekend not good. So I've had to leave a plan and go to a new insurance who was open all weekend
APlan in Fareham took over the business of John Lane in Gosport. What a disaster !! APlan did not send me a reminder that my house insurance was due. I had to renew in a desperate hurry although their best price was twice what John Lane had produced the year before. This was simply because the previous insurer was not on APlan's favoured list. Sounds like a bit of a racket to me. I went direct to the insurer John Lane had used last year. They were brilliant. They offered exactly the same deal at the same price as I had had last year. I signed up with them, Now I wait to see if APlan will return the money from my cancelled excessive demand from them. The omens are not good. No renewal reminder. No response to two emails to the office manager. Not open at 0830 as advertised. The only reason why APlan in Fareham get one star is because they took over two lovely staff from John Lane. Otherwise it would be no stars at all. My advice : do not touch APlan with a barge pole David Smith
I've used A Plan for vehicle and home insurance many times. Always received excellent service.
Saving over £180 from my last insurer + more local talking to a person rather than a voice over phone + more discount if doing more plans ie house insurance bike insurance etc very pleased I switched over to them
Much better service and price than online Staff bend over backwards in helping their customers. Personal service. Staff you can trust.
Very helpful staff. Answered my questions well and got back to me as they had promised.
