We are an established Physiotherapy and Sport Injury Clinic based in Knutsford..

Story

Our chartered physiotherapy team offer a wide variety of expertise. Although sports injuries are of particular interest at this clinic, we also deal with non-sports related injuries.
Our aim is to provide highly professional care to all our patients offering individually prescribed treatment and rehabilitation programs ensuring you get back up and running with minimal disruption to your daily lives.

Abi was recommended to me when I started having problems with my hand/thumb. She is brilliant - treated me in a friendly but professional manner - and with patience (needed, I imagine, when you have a client who can't seem to remember all her exercises) - a real pleasure to deal with - she is also working wonders on a chronic back problem. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Abi is absolutely superb - she has treated me for a previous injury I obtained whilst training for a marathon walk for charity and since then to help with migraines. She has also helped my husband who got a calf injury during football. Extremely professional and very talented in her area of expertise - would highly recommend.

Having suffered for weeks with headaches It was suggested that while waiting to go for a scan to see a physiotherapist I visited Abbie and spoke to examined and treated in what I can say a fully professional manner. After a couple session my headache eased off I also had the famous Chinese needles and never even felt them and they work first class service can't fault the professionalism

I've used A.K.Physio a number of times to help treat sporting injuries. They were recommended to me by a friend who had themselves been treated there. The most recent course of treatment I've had there was this year. Whilst training for the Greater Manchester Marathon I started to get pain in my right knee after the longer training runs and I was seriously considering withdrawing from the event. However, after the treatment I received at the clinic in Knutsford, and following the program of stretching prescribed by Abi, my knee trouble settled down and I was able to complete my first marathon :o) In addition to the treatment being excellent, the people who work there are really friendly and have a genuine interest in sport and training, and were able to offer lots of advice on how to improve my training and preparation for the marathon. I would definitely recommend A.K.Physio.
