Never let us down at any point. I looked at the various company’s available within the local area and to be honest the options were there but seemly owned by one company! My father was someone who believed in the personal touch and I wanted to reflect him in the choice I made for him for his final journey. Stoodley & Son Ltd preformed beyond belief from the moment I started conversing as my father died sooner than expected and I found myself unprepared, if there’s such a thing as a time like this! They dealt with me, a distressed mess to be honest in a manner that I felt I was dealing directly with a family member but without the emotion, thankfully. All the way through the process horrible word they were there for not only me but all the family especially my now recently widowed mother with a professionalism but more importantly, a humanity that helped us through this difficult time. As I said earlier, it was as we gained another family member rather that a professional corporate service and this I cannot express my thanks enough. We wanted a personal family service which was solely family and very close friends, yet different to what has been done before. Stoodley & Sons supported us all the way which I don’t believe I would have had from any other company and this made the final day how ever difficult it was, a great success! All I can say to you if your reviewing this, Stoodley & Sons were fabulous and made the sad situation bearable and you would not make a mistake choosing this rare gem of a company. Finally, Thank you to all the staff Stoodleys as you all were human, compassionate and just lovely.

I have nothing but praise for Tracey and her team who supported me and my family through what could have been the most traumatic day of our lives. It was so comforting to know they were there , guiding encouraging and enabling us to have exactly what we wanted for my beloved husband and their very special and much loved dads funeral. It is the little things which count telephone call on the morning of the funeral another the day after. Even bringing our car to the side of the crematorium so that we could make a swift exit. We had decided to meet and greet at the Wake rather than the crematorium. Words cannot express how safe and secure we felt, on the day and in our the knowledge that they will be continue to be there for us. Thank you so much.

Colin and the Stoodley & Son team has been nothing short of fantastic with unwavering support and reassurance every step of the way. At such a difficult time for us they have been so understanding and very professional with an attention to detail that sets them apart. Very approachable team who maintain high standards at all times. A professional service from a family feel team.

Tracey, Colin and the team at Stoodley and Son ltd. What can I say. 100% went above and beyond. Every little detail was perfect. Such a caring, professional service. Nothing was to much trouble. Made my dad's celebration of life a beautiful day.

I cannot praise Tracey,Colin and the team enough for taking care of our Mum's funeral at such a difficult time. They were so approachable and handled everything with such care and attention. I highly recommend them and wish I could give more than five stars!

5 stars just aren't enough, Tracey and all the team at Stoodley and Son were absolutely incredible. Kind and understanding from the very first time we spoke to them. Listening and taking the time to ensure that all our dad's last wishes were met. Making sure dad was cared for so respectfully, giving us time to grieve and spend time with dad before we said goodbye, for this we will be forever thankful. Organising an intimate service with the Catholic priest before the service, arranging an absolutely beautiful flower arrangement, thank you Kim, this was challenging due to business closures over the Christmas period but we were so proud the day we said goodbye, everything was just perfect and dad would have loved his very special woodland display .The Celebrant, Matthew, was so kind and his words were perfect on the day and he ensured that we had the space to share our own memories, the music was perfect and I felt on the day of dad's final farewell that together we got everything just how he would have wanted his goodbye to be. Thank you so very much, I feel like throughout a very emotional time of our life, we truly found friendship and compassion in people who really did care. Angela and Ben xx

Colin and the team at Stoodley & Son were absolutely wonderful. From patiently answering my questions at the very beginning, through helping us make all of the arrangements for my Dad's funeral, they were faultlessly professional, respectful and most importantly kind from start to finish. It truly felt as if they understood my family's loss and that they did everything they possibly could to make such an awful time more bearable for us. Thank you so much.

Colin and the whole team looked after us, and Dad, so beautifully. At the worst time of your life, you really feel supported, and their professionalism, sensitivity and care for the details is amazing. Colin looked after my Grandpa’s funeral in March 2020 and then my Dad’s in Feb 2021. Even under the restrictions at those times, they helped us say goodbye in a way that honoured our loved ones.
