Waited 1hr 30 minutes for a taxi promised in 15.  Hung up on me 3 times when I tried calling to find out what was going on and replacement cab promised in 5 minutes took 30.  Avoid avoid avoid.

Called to book taxi twice a day 4 days a week for next 4 weeks . From Gloucester to Cheltenham and return.was told you would be better off finding one in Gloucester.  !!!This is £50 a day . Thanks for advice I got a great service from Dial A Cab

Absolutely disgusting. Taxi picks someone else up  i ring the office, they offer to send another. Original one turns up 20mins after initial booking. As I am already late, I ask for a fare reduction. He locks the door and refuses to let me exit to go to the cashpoint. All the while abusing and using threatening language. As a lone female, I was very scared. Disgusting attitude, even refused to let the office know he had arrived and the next taxi would not be needed..  Which I did myself. Never again! Use spa tax.

Really terrible service. Called for a quote for a journey, booked outward and return journeys based on that quote. On the outward journey, the driver delivered us to the wrong location- we then corrected him and were taken to the right location, but this meant we were 15 minutes late for a wedding. I then rang up to ensure we would be picked up from the correct location - the office apologised for the mishap and said we would be picked up from the correct location confirmed where it was and for the same price. However, the driver for our return journey went to the wrong location again, even though we had called to correct it, and overcharged. When we tried to explain this to the office they denied the earlier correction and said we would have to pay more. Absolutely appalling customer service. Would not use again. We paid the extra so that the driver wouldn't lose out, as it wasn't his fault. Pay your drivers properly and own up to your mistakes.

Bad!!  Update: driver was almost 10 minutes late and took a god awful route resulting in me missing my train despite leaving a generous amount of time to get there on time. Totally unimpressed. Must reduce to 1 star.  Drivers are all really nice, but the chap that runs the office at night is rude and has terrible hearing which is just an awful mix.  The lady in the office in the day time is much better.

Tried them for the first time today. Booked a taxi allowing 20 minutes to make a 10 minute journey and told the operator I had a bus to catch and at what time. Waited 10 minutes and didn't show, so I missed my bus. Went to book different transport and the driver eventually called 16 minutes late - 4 minutes before I should've been on the bus. I called the office who had a go at me for not being there. Won't be using them again

Absolutely disgraceful. Do not use this taxi service. We booked a taxi for a wedding and it took us to the wrong place first! We then arrived at the wedding 15 mins late. We tried to rectify the mistake for the return journey but the driver attempted to charge us £10 more, while already being 20 mins late and when we tried to call the establishment, they hung up on us as we were discussing our case. The taxi driver threatened to not drop us at our destination so we paid the extra but I would not go with this company again. I would try any other taxi service before you have to resort to this one.

Wow how rude was this woman calling as trying to find out if a taxi had been booked to make sure someone was safe  as I had a call from  them crying  saying  thay was getting  a to b taxi phone  cut off so I found this company's number  got a rude what u want  first words and told to go away  wouldn't  let me  speak  great customer service  just coz it wasn't taxi to this place I could understand if there was a language problem but no she was rude and English  Turns out the woman  was beaten by her partner  all  I wanted  to find out if she had booked a cab

##DO NOT USE##  Absolutely the worst taxi service since the history of records began!  Imagine this: you have asked for a taxi from the middle of nowhere Cripps Barn and at a time that you don't really have the option of getting a new taxi 00:30. Not only did this taxi arrive 30 minutes late Went to Stone Barns..., but half way through the journey decided to charge us for the mistake they made and threatened to leave us in the middle of nowhere if we didn't pay! When we tried to complain to the controller they hung-up on me!  You are better off finding any other company/ hitch hike would be safer/ walk!

I have been living in Cheltenham and Gloucester for 2 and a half years. I have always used A 2 B taxis. They are always early and always friendly. They are realistic and let you know if they can't make it in 5 minutes and give you an alternative taxi number. I think they must have changed since the previous negative reviews posted a number of years ago. They are most definitely the best taxi firm I have ever used!
