Decent food, but there was way too much oil on garlic naan. The place was almost empty during our visit, so the service was very good, everything was delivered promptly.Food: 3/5
I was unsure whether to go for a chicken or Paneer Madras as I love them both. When I told this to the server he quickly said that's not a problem, they will make a chicken and paneer mixed madras. I also asked for extra fresh chillies. Chillies arrived in a side bowl for to add, perfect! The curry was gorgeous and I loved ever forkful. Thanks for the great food and service
This is our go to for Indian takeaway. Food is always hot and tasty and delivered really quickly. I think they use their own delivery driver which makes a big difference.Food: 4/5
Horrific experience from start to finish, we reserved a table of 14 to then be placed on a table suitable for a party no larger than 8. Eventually, we got spread out between 3 tables. Then, the nonexistent service didn't shine a positive light onto the evening, had to ask repeatedly for drinks and food menus, constantly having to check with the services to see where everything is. It took over an hour to begin receiving our food, and then it took a further 30 mins for them to complete the order. Food arrived cold, tasting nothing like the dish ordered. You couldn't pay me to eat at this place, absolute disservice to Indian food across the globe
I ordered a take away, the pickle was £3 and quiet frankly the portion were very poor but tasty , the main course was a chicken vindaloo, while the sauce was very tasty there was eleven pieces of chicken. I was not impressed and will probably never go back, it has been recommended many times so was looking forward to a delicious meal sadly it was poor
Absolutely brilliant restaurant to go out and have a decent meal to eat. Service is great and the knowledge of the menu from the staffed is brilliant. They know each dish and provide a great service / experience.. Only down side is there is no easy access for people with disabilities.
Turned up after booking with no table free / ready. 15 min wait. Wrong drinks arrived. Starters took over 40 minutes. Mains were almost as slow. Overall what we thought was going to be a 1.5 hour max meal was well over 2 hours. They also tried to charge us £13 too much. Food was good, but not good enough to compensate for the issues nor was any money offer or even a free drink offered. Food 8/10. Service 5/10.
The veg platter was pathetic, to begin with. And surprisingly the staff was really rude and misbehaved. It's unbelievable how some of the staff members are allowed to work with their abusive behaviour towards the customers. I would highly recommend exercising caution at this restaurant.Food: 1/5
Excellent food at a lovely restaurant. All the dishes that we tried like the tandoori grill mix, the spicy balti lamb with lentil, the mango lassi and the garlic and keema naans were delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and prices reasonable so definitely would recommend! Vegetarian options: Many
What's happened? One of the best curry places in Sheffield and I got sent an incredibly oily balti. I've been here quite a few times but whoever cooked this needs sacking. It was saturated in oil when I took the plastic cover off, although yes I did eat most of it as I was hungry but not happy at all. I had a seafood balti in the restaurant about 3 months ago and it certainly wasn't like this, it was amazing and no where near as much oil. Always tip top when I've been to the restaurant, but now I'm having second thoughts of returning. Curry was supposed to be from a good quality restaurant not a takeaway. I was thinking actually if I enjoyed the dish tonight I was going to give this place 5/5 but doesn't look like I'll be ordering here again. It's a shame. Felt rough after it.
