Lovely food, service was speedy at first but a bit slow when we'd finished our mains and wanted dessert. When we got home and I double checked the bill we were overcharged - only £1 - so no bg deal. Would go there again for the food.
Went here for breakfast. Portion sizes were good and the staff were attentive, polite and friendly. The seating area in the large marquee was lovely and well presented. The only downside was the bacon roll I ordered. It was smoky bacon and came in a brioche bun with no other options. I'm not a lover of smoked anything but had to go with it. The bacon was good quality but conversely meant the streaks of fat were also thick and hard to eat. I would definitely visit again.
Food amazing although experienced fluctuations in portions and presentations same dishes ordered in the space of two weeksnnService: everyone very polite and friendly, but disappointed about some lack of attention to details dirty table, mistakes in dishes, wrong choc flavour in our take away truffles. Maybe a particular unlucky day, but all these in one visit, have disappointed.nnLocation :really nice, dog friendly, nice decor, deli stacked, amazing cakes, conservatory room a bit hot on sunny days.nnOverall I think it is a nice inplace but unfortunately I would not rush back after today's experience.
Thank you to the staff who were so attentive and friendly. I emailed ahead as it was a birthday meal and the waiter brought over a complimentary drink and wished happy birthday. Such a nice personal touch. Food was delicious and atmosphere is lovely. Nice roaring fire and warm tent. Will visit again for dinner no doubt
The coffee shop and delicatessen are well stocked, although, sales price tags aren't easily ready, the interior design is top class and is finished to a very good standard. The seating areas are roomy and very comfortable.
