Ordered at 9.15pm and didn't arrive until 10.30pm and it was undercooked. All I had ordered was chips, rice and curry and chips rice and gravy and they can't use the excuse that it takes 75 minutes to make those dishes. I have ordered before and most of the time the girl at the other end of the phone is cheeky and verbally abused. What makes my experience worse is that it was the chef that delivered my order as and when it eventually arrived the chef asked for a tip.

Went to 163 and made an order over the counter for the set menu. We were waiting for about 10 minutes and once home discovered that we had the wrong order. One of the soups was wrong and we had no chips so the menu wasn’t complete. When we phoned the girl that served us said that the slip had gone and she would phone me back. She also told me that they were closing in 5 minutes and that the driver had left. She did not phone me back so when I phoned her she told me that they would send us chips with a driver (???) and that we would have to pay £1.50 delivery charge for this! Naturally we questioned this and the girl from the desk (very very bad attitude) got someone to phone me back and explain the situation. She said that the chef was “very bad and just shouts all the time” and “says no to everything cause of money”. She offered to give me my money back from her own purse as she was scared to argue with him! We did not accept this and decided to leave it. We will not be ordering from them again. Very very disappointed.

Abismal. Messed up our entire order. Phoned to resolve and were told our correct order could not be delivered as they were closing early - total lies. Called back to be told that we would have to pay delivery if we wanted the correct order. The girl at reception hung up multiple times, her attitude was that of a stroppy child and she would not take any responsibility. An absolute disgrace - awful way to treat customers. Avoid!

Love my chinese food, so when down here visiting I’m always trying to find one I love. I have found it here at 163, breast chicken curry was lovely n tender. Salt n chilli chicken chow mien was a new one to us and we all loved it. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

It's under new management and is by far the best Chinese takeaway in Ayr right now. It's the best home delivery service I have ever known ever ! Never had to wait any longer than 15 to 20 minutes for the delivery to arrive,even at the weekends. Prices are good and the food is excellent. Best chinki in the town in my opinion.
