This is a very good hearing clinic and audiologist. I just a check-up with Derin and she was able to answer all my questions and use the technology to demonstrate, with a live video, the health of my ears. I'm very appreciative and would recommend this clinic for anyone who needs hearing services in the area!

Changed my appointment came and they told me I had to re book another child’s appointment it’s a waste of time. I advised there was traffic running late of a few minutes but didn’t call me to advise I should just change and re- books an appointment!

I had a feeling my right ear was blocked but I’ve never had an ear wax removal before so I went in for the free checkup. I then got my ear checked by matthew and found it was completely blocked and after suggesting a few options we decided to give the removal a go. He managed to get all of it completely in minutes and also talked to me about aftercare. 100% would recommend and I’ll be going again frequently for the checkups!

Would not heistate to recommend Zone1 Hearing to anyone looking to get help with their hearing.  I've been wearing the same hearing aids for many years without any issues, a couple of weeks ago the rechargeable battery in one of them started to run down and only hold its charge for an hour or so.  I contacted Matthew, he got the batteries ordered in within a few days and then changed them for me. He also updated the software in my hearing aids and checked the ear fitting/settings/comfort/etc were all good.  Zone1 fixed my problem quickly and went above and beyond. Very happy.  I had contacted some other hearing aid practises, one of which wanted to send the aids back to the manufacturer for the battery change could have taken weeks and the other practice just refused to do anything as they hadn't originally supplied the hearing aids to me.  A battery change might sound like a trivial thing but sending them back the manufacturer for weeks would have meant no hearing for me for weeks, thats a big problem.  Very thankful to Zone1 for sorting me out quickly.

I went to Zone 1 to get my ears cleared and also to see if they could suggest an upgrade for my new but old tech hearing aids.  The first micro suction encountered some problem with dead skin attached to both wax and eardrum.  I had a discussion with Mathew and ordered some  Signia hearing aids at £1399 for which I paid a deposit of 1/2 and a TV streamer at £200.  A few days later I had to go to the doctor with an ear infection but obviously cannot say whether connected  with the micro suction or not. The hearing aids arrived and I paid the balance. I was a bit surprised to get no documentation of any description, no invoice, no contract, no terms and conditions, just a receipt,  especially as I was told there was 60 day  free trial period. Anyway a few days later my ears were still blocked so I called again and was given a speedy appointment. I was about to give up on the hearing aids and told Mathew so as they obviously could not work well with persistently blocked ears. Mathew suggested that he syringe my ears whether this was wise in light of the recent infection is a moot point - I am not the expert.  Further audiology showed no significant improvement so he adjusted the right ear with maximum treble and so maximum feedback. Shortly after I had to return to the doctor with ear pain which  required strong antibiotics for the persistent infection which has still not gone away and I am still unable to us the hearing aid in the infected ear.  Overall although Zone 1 are friendly and helpful this has not been a good experience for me and I am going to see an consultant ear surgeon who I hope will help.

Matthew is a great, independent audiologist committed to top of the line hearing improvements for his clients. He’s very knowledgeable and incredibly honest and straightforward with his clients — couldn’t recommend more highly!
