Went out for an evening meal, restaurant was clean, staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu was great too with variety of selections with full meal details such as ingredients etc. Great price for the food can’t complain, the dessert options are nice too although not all options were available when I visited but nevertheless Zizzi was worth the trip. Keep it up.
Relaxed cozy tables and booths. Went with a group of 4 for dinner we’re seated immediately and had attentive service all night. Tried the pork and garlic meatballs did not disappoint and then the chicken and fiery roquito rustic pizza. Also had a nice tall peroni. Prices for beer with a little steep but the food was worth every penny. Sauce with the meatballs and the pizza were so natural you could taste the difference from some store bought brand with no flavor. The cheese and toppings were bountiful they did not cheap out. Came out to around 30-35 per person. Definitely recommend if you’re willing to pay a little more for some fantastic food. Portions were huge! 5/5
Nice tasty food, nice staff, ate it all - good for "chain food" - could have been a bit warmer, but minor gripe
Zizzi 1. Garlic Bread with Mozzarella £6.15 - Garlic Bread with Mozzarella & caramelised balsamic onions. 2. Calzone Pollo Spinaci £12.95 - Roasted chicken, speck, spinach & mushrooms, in a creamy mozzarella & Bechamel sauce, topped with coppa ham. 3. King Prawn Linguine £12.25 - King prawns & courgette ribbons in a hot roquito chilli, tomato & white wine sauce. 4. Golden Millionaire's Slice £5.85 - A chocolate chip cookie base, topped with layers of salted toffee & coconut chocolate ganache. Finished with splashes of gold. 5. Pasta Crisps on the house Verdict: For starters, we had the pasta crisps and garlic bread with mozzarella. I was absolutely awestruck the minute I took my first bite of the garlic bread It was a festival of flavours - Ooey gooey cheese melted meticulously on soft garlic bread, perfectly matched with flavourful caramelised balsamic onions. The perfectly-congealed cheese strands that stretched seductively from every slice of the bread left me speechless!! It was by far the cheesiest garlic bread I’ve had; in fact it tasted more like a mini cheese pizza The mains were also satisfactory, especially the calzone which was hand baked in their special oven. It was jumbo sized and loaded with various fillings It was all very overwhelming, but as you can tell how good the food was, we finished everything with a pleasurable experience. If I had to criticise an item off their menu, it would be the Golden Millionaire's Slice. The layers were indistinguishable and tasted very much alike - it felt like I was scooping a blob of chocolate batter; it was too sticky and chocolatey, lacking the different textural chemistry. I have to say that Zizzi is the perfect spot for Rustica seekers as their authentic Italian food will serenade your taste buds with its heavenly taste. The secret to Italian cooking is sapori e saperi flavors and skills, which implies doing little to excellent fresh ingredients, and I have to admit that Zizzi nailed it
Went for a Saturday night pizza with the family - the place was absolutely packed. The busiest Zizzi's I've ever been to. That said we were seated quickly and our order taken. Staff were nice and friendly, food was good. Minor complaint that my pizza was left out for 5 minutes before being served so it was a little colder than I would have liked. Not the end of the world and I was so hungry I couldn't be bothered to raise it.
Food is delicious and high quality. Service is brilliant. The staff are lovely, friendly and accommodating. Vegetarian and vegan options available if needed. No parking really as it's located in the city centre, amongst all the shops. We love this place and we often come here for anniversaries, birthdays and fancy date nights. Highly recommended
Terrible customer service, just got ignored when trying to book a table for six this evening. An apology for being busy and I will be with you as soon as possible is just courteous and polite. Didn’t bother wasting our time and left. Could have booked online but thought the personal touch was better as we could check it out. Good job we did, ignorant staff. Top tip for staff, always make the customer feel welcome and want to come back. Thanks for letting us know not to bother!!! Dietary restrictions: Don’t go for the personal touch you’ll be ignored
Everything was very fresh, great customer service, enjoyed our experience.
Served by Liv they were lovely. Sqeezed us in when we haven't reserved. It quick service got food quick got us a free garlic bread by signing up online. Definitely come againFood: 5/5
Terrible prices...3 people we spent 100 pounds for 1 meal each and 3 drinks, nothing with the staff but common, this prices are shocking!!! You better go to a buffet place than here...and we legit had basic food potatoes and chicken never going there again, this is shocking so expensive!!! The quality of the food wasn't very good though.
