Oh my goodness gracious! One of the best meals I've had in months! I ordered takeaway, arrived fresh and hot. Absolute place to go to, it's just too good!! Great idea on the double layer pizza box too! Cheers to everyone, hope I see you again soon!Food: 5/5
We enjoyed a lovely NYE lunch here, there was a slight mix up with our drinks order but this was rectified quickly and we were given a free glass of Prosecco for the trouble. All staff were friendly and the food was great. Special mention to the bruschetta and risottos both chicken and veggie really lovely.
Overall experience Good, however chips for my daughter were forgotten even though she excitedly asked for chips to our server when ordering, but mistakes do happen, and they did turn up in the end and we were not charged for them. Bruschetta & Garlic Bread Tasty - Chilli infused oil is a must at this place! JackFruit Pizza really sloppy/dripping with the water from the jackfruit or oil not entirely sure what it was. My Spinach and Margherita pizza was nice. Aside from this nice staff and lovely atmosphere.
Had a really lovely vegan pizza. The pizza was a really good size and had no after taste, its probably one of the best vegan pizza's ive had. After such a great experience, i went back but only to have a truely disappointing visit. The service from the staff waiter and managerwas unacceptable!! Frankly the experience was uncomfortable. Thank goodness for Jayvon who was willing to listen and try to resolve the issues.
I love Zizzi's but I won't be here again. Although the staff were friendly and polite the service itself was terrible. As I write this I have finished eating and we are totting up the bill surrounded by 16 empty glasses and bottles on a table of 9 guests, and this when the restaurant was practically empty. The plates and glasses took an age to clear, at every stage of the meal one or more items arrived incorrectly. The King Prawns were delicious. The calamari was bland. The spaghetti bolognaise was inedible. Normally I go to One New Change and the food and service are excellent. I think next time I'll just pay the Congestion Charge and go to a decent Zizzi's instead.
Went there on Saturday and not a great experience will definitely not be going back . Staff to busy we were on a table right in front of the oven so we could see what was going on. There were 4 of us after about 30 minutes we saw the pizza up on the pass it was sitting there for about 7 minutes getting colder and colder so when it eventually came over it was cold so it went back in the meantime the other people in my party were all eating. Then as the other people had finished it came back not even a sorry and it didn’t come off the bill so will definitely not be going back
They clearly took too many reservations tonight, or simply didn't have enough staff. I've eaten at other branches of Zizzi's plenty of times and generally enjoy the food even though the service can be slow. Tonight we actually walked out. Despite our having reserved a table we waited 20 minutes at the door before anyone spoke to us, and another 5 minutes before being shown a table. We sat down for another 20 minutes without the serving staff so much as acknowledging us never mind taking an order. Eventually, worried that food service would also be slow that our parking would expire before we had eaten, we got up and walked out, and went for some fast food around the corner. An altogether rubbish experience.
Visited on a Saturday lunchtime just after 12. After trying to order using the app we spoke to the staff who said they would switch it on! Had a youngster with us and the staff made sure his food was served promptly. Food was good, ordered from the fixed price menu, Zillionaire cake was nice but would have been better if served warm with a blob of clotted cream! Kid-friendliness: High chair arrived before we asked for it.
we were served on a Saturday night. when placing our order, despite this having taken half an hour before we could order anything, the waitress commented on the fact that we were ordering a rustica pizza and garlic bread, she asked us if we were sure before placing our order which made us both feel insecure on our weight and what we were eating. when I am paying for food in a restsueant i don't expect someone to comment on the amount I'm eating, especially not the waitress who's salary i am paying. by the way we ate it all, but would have preferred no one comments on how much we eat In the future. they were also dismissive to customer who had drinks dropped on then. we have been regular zizzis customers for years, but am sorry to say that this particular restaurant has gone down hill, the tables were left dirty for over an hour and the state of the toilets was disgusting
Not sure if we got them on a bad night but staff seemed to be quite confused, tables were not all laid out with cutlery and there were problems with meals. That said the staff were really nice and polite. The actual restaurant looks a bit tatty and is in need of a refurbishmentFood: 4/5
