I was tasked with arranging a family get together for 6 people before Christmas and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The Guildford branch not only looks beautiful but its staff were friendly and attentive. The festive menu was fantastic with huge portions. The pizza in the picture was for 1 person so I'm glad I shared it with my daughter! Definitely recommended
Marco palladi the waiter is fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and was always willing to help. Explained at the start what was missing of the menu and made our meal very enjoyable. Personally my 1st visit to the Guildford branch and it was brilliant. Thank you for making the 5 of us enjoy our meal. I hope your manager is aware of your fantastic customer service.
Kids loved Zizzi's. Very reasonable kids menu, with option for 2 or 3 courses. Nice activity page too. Waiter was very helpful and lots of information available to help with my dairy intolerant daughter. Desert options for ice-cream and/or sorbet, came as in picture to the delight of both my girls.
We came to Zizzis on a Saturday and was surprised it wasn't to busy at all!! All the staff were friendly and service was quick. All the food was amazing, the mozzarella arancini was heavenly, the calamari was delicious and my calzone was filled to the brim, so flavourful and piping hot! Really lovely evening, great atmosphere, great food!!
Seated quickly. Asked for a booth, but since it was just me, there was not a booth that was set up for 2 or less. Was sat at a table in the middle of the dining room. The service was fast and pleasant. I ordered 6 layer lasagne bolognese and a cocktail called Zombie Pineapple. The server brought my drink and free fried noodles. The drink was very good. The pasta was not my favorite though. It's ok, but I felt a bit like I was eating dried spaghetti noodles with seasoning. The lasagna was delicious. I was warned about the plate being very hot. I was not warned about hot the bolognese was. I should have known better. But, it was worth burning half my tongue. It was so creamy and rich..and very filling.. For dessert I ordered the chocolate pudding with coconut sorbet..The hot, chocolate lava-like center with the cold coconut sorbet was heavenly. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! Overall an excellent experience. The food is always good. The service is well drilled. On this particular visit 29/12/22 we arrived early for our table but were seated easily. Our main order seemed to appear within minutes. Despite some unforeseen 'availability' issues with the Dessert menu, a sumptuous feast was enjoyed by all. On experience, this particular branch of Zizzi always delivers! JMO
Fantastic service. The Assistant Manager was extremely accommodating as I am allergic to garlic. The meal was superb, the service fantastic and as Guildford had a water problem the restaurant got extremely busy but he and his staff coped brilliantly. Would happily return next time we are in Surrey and would like to offer my grateful thanks to Slarve for going above & beyond for me. Dietary restrictions: I am very allergic to garlic which I appreciate is a problem in an Italian restaurant. As most of Guildford had no water, Zizzi’s was one that had and Slarve sorted a superb salad for me. It was delicious.
I went here with the children a few days before Christmas. There was a good choice of options on the menu including veggie and vegan I am vegetarian that occasionally eats fish and seafood. The service was good and child friendly. With starters, mains, starters and a few drinks it cost over £100 for 3 of us Vegetarian options: The is several veggie and vegan options. Kid-friendliness: There is a welcoming attitude to kids and there were a few families with kids dining at the same time.
Pizza is a must order item. Garlic king prawn is a surprise for the evening. Pasta chips is a nice pairing to a glass of Pinot Grigio
Been coming here since I was really young and still love it! Food is amazing and lovely atmosphere. Went recently and the manager went above and beyond to squeeze me and my boyfriend in, despite not having a booking. Was so grateful and had a lovely time!
