Tldr; very nice restaurant but we experienced a lot of waiting time The staff is very nice and welcoming. We were seated in a very nice spot in the restaurant, close to the cooking space but not too close, so we could see the chef cooking. The food was good. I mean we checked the comments and they mention the best Italian food in Ireland. I would not go that far, but it's good. And it's quite an original menu for an Italian restaurant. The only real bad experience we had was a very long waiting time 1 hour all put together to get our meal. That being said, again, the staff was extra caring and well aware.
Really good food, especially gluten free options. The portions are right and the flavours are very good. The pasta Crips are neat, but not that special. The service really ruined the experience. Of the three servers only one knew what she was doing. Our 'main' server forgot our drinks, then forgot my wife's starter, then never showed up again. Luckily he's co-workers pick up the slack. The food is worth it, the service is not.
It's good for vegans, the service it's good, the girls are really nice. But the food it's not the best that I've tried. They don't have the full menu to serve, for example, I ask for chips and they only had sweet potatoes. Pizza's where fine, but not amazing. And I didn't try the meat menu, so maybe I'm loosing that part of the experience! ps. don't forget to join the club! because they have free garlic bread if you join, and you can have points!
Quite a cozy place with a nice interior, but not very fast service. In my opinion, the cuisine is far from Italian in the usual sense. The pizza was stale while we were eating it, the ravioli were giant and all topped with tomato paste. Beer only from cans. Half of the ordered food was delivered quickly, but the second part of our company had to wait a long time. It was unpleasant
Great service, fab food with good portion size. Had the €30, three course meal deal over Christmas. Nice treat for the family. Kid-friendliness: Great value kids menu for about €8. Kid was very pleased. Dietary restrictions: Offer to cater for all sorts of dietary requirements including gluten free and allergens.
Had a really nice meal here. If you like salads, the Marroccian salad was AMAZING. Really nicely seasoned and the small bread that comes with it was sooo tasty. its size could be a little bigger but apart from that it was amazing. We also had the pizza and it was great, a little on the spicy side but was told i could ask to be less spicy next time. They were fairly fast with the food and the waiters were nice also a yound culry haired girl had no name tagwas particularly nice with a delightful attitude def coming back.
There is actually a vegan menu! I am very lactose intolerant and have a very hard time going to restaurants. The wait staff was very good and the restaurant was very nice and the food was very enjoyable.
Not recommend, Expensive food and out-of-standard restaurant !!! I've ordered food at Zizi many times but this time it was a joke! Look at the amount of pasta in the Bolognese and carbonara pasta. I always order Bolognese and the amount was always the same, but this time it was a joke. What will be done about it Zizi ? Was the restaurant out of pasta ?
I eat in restaurants a lot and Zizzi’s Dublin Suffolk street is by far the best Italian restaurant in Ireland. We had a very warm and friendly welcoming from Wayne. It was extremely busy when we were there but all staff especially Wayne were continuing to be friendly and helpful throughout. I know I wouldn’t be very nice if it was that busy in work running around but they are. Service was extremely quick and we could see the amazing food being cooked by the extraordinary chefs. Thank you all for everything we will be seeing you again
Great place to stop in for a quick bite. The staff were really attentive and the food and drink were superb. I will be back.Food: 4/5
