TLDR: Do not EVER use ZipJet if you like your clothes returned to you clean and in 1 piece. Longread version: I have had the WORST experience of my life with ZipJet and I would literally recommend anywhere else over this service. Even the dogdy looking flyer you get in the mail every couple of months. I used the app to request pick-up of an expensive dress from the Beth Ditto collection a few months ago. Upon collection, my garment with expensive tocar pearl buttons was flung into the bottom of a bag and I was told I could not have it picked up in a garment bag. I pointed out the expensive buttons but no one was interested, and I tried to get the driver to accept my garment in a cushioned garment bag but he refused to accept. I was working on a deadline so assumed they knew what they were doing. Needless to say I was very wrong. I received the garment back on the morning I was due to travel and hung it away in my wardrobe still in the platic, forgetting about the whole incident. About a month or so later, I quickly grabbed the dress to wear to a video shoot and after arriving at the venue and putting it on, I noticed the buttons were all broken, with 1 completely missing. There were also still stains on the dress. I was very upset and contacted Zipjet about this. Zipjet told me they would come collect the dress to fix it and pointed out several times they couldn't guarantee anything under their limited liability policy as it had been more than 72 hours after the dress had been returned to me. I prepared the dress in the garment bag and removed the drycleaner number, and was then told we were several emails in at this point that I should have kept this and that now things would be a lot more complicated. I had also forwarded photos as well as the original order confirmation and the works, but ended up having to do this twice, as my time clearly wasn't valued by ZipJet's abysmal customer service team. It took no less than 3 attempts at making an appointmemt for the dress to be collected. I was then told when the dress was finally picked up that I could choose between a free replacement of plastic buttons, or glass buttons pearl buttons, like the original, were not going to be an option and reminded once again how nice they were being accepting my dress worn and without the receipt. I was now dealing with incompetent and apparently illiterate as I kept having to repeat myself customer agent no 2 where I had to repeat myself once again several times. I was then told that ZipJet would charge me £5 per glass button to make the repair as the dress had been worn and was delivered without the receipt. When I reminded them this was damages caused by ZipJet, so I was not inclined to pay, they told me they would be returning the dress to me. In short, I would not recommend using this service, as they are rude, uninterested in their customers, and do not know how to keep your expensive garments in one piece. Be wise and go elsewhere.
I’ve been a customer for over a year. Unfortunately they have issues with their delivery service again and again. Sometimes the driver didn’t ring the doorbell, other times the driver had an accident or had to reschedule last minute. Each time, the result was not getting my laundry back at the scheduled time, which is a huge no-go if you have to rely on having your suits and shirts ready for work. They promised to fix the issue but it has just happened again. I’m now switching back to a local laundry service as it’s not worth the headache. The quality of their cleaning and ironing was ok. The idea behind Zipjet is great and I’m waiting for another company with better service and reliability to replace them
Absolute catastrophe! DO NOT USE EVER. I paid for express service for multiple cashmere jumpers and expensive work dresses to be delivered at 8 am. The order was accepted and I received an invoice. I have then be contacted at 8.40am that the order can not be deliver on time. After making various phone calls and wasting my whole Sunday it turns out they lost my items. Which now means I have to start my week without any work wear. Taking the hassle out of laundry?? What a joke. Making life hell... DO not use
I have been using Zipjet for 4 months now and I cannot praise them enough! Their app is easy to use to schedule pick ups and I love the fact that they give you a two hour window, and then send you a text when they are minutes from your door. Their drivers are always prompt and courteous, and their service is excellent! Everything comes back clean and perfectly folded and ready to just put away. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
I have used Zipjet a few times now and every time the service has been amazing. The whole process is extremely user friendly and all of the staff I have had contact with are helpful and nice. All of our pick-ups and drop-offs were bang on time, and it is great that you are kept informed at all points during the process. Zipjet was an absolute lifesaver when we were having our kitchen replaced and did not have a washing machine for a number of weeks! Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future.
I am using Zipjet for about 6 months now and I really like their service and quality! The app is easy to use and the prices meet the service quality. It is absolutely easy to schedule a pick up/drop off via the app. All the drivers are nice and helpful. Most importantly, all stuff I had cleaned, washed,... came back in perfect conditions and as expected. I can recommend Zipjet to anyone that has something for the drycleaner, you will love the handy bags they bring to transport your clothes.
We love Zipjet - we’ve been using it for over 3 years now and find it so easy. We’ve never lost an item, the drivers are always friendly especially Saeed!, and customer care is also very helpful if we ever need to change a delivery time at the last minute. Would recommend this service to anyone who life a busy life and doesn’t have time to go to an in person dry cleaning shop!
Used this online laundry service for quite some time and it was good at first but not anymore!! Had my suits dry cleaned. Driver arrived when I was having shower. Returned the drivers call within 3 minutes and no answer. Just literally spoken to my flatmate who were in the living room at the time when driver call, and he didn't even hear a door bell and he confirmed that the door bell was not rang. I kept calling the driver after that and happy to pick my suits up wherever he was but still no answer. I need my suit to go to work today but they can't redelivered to me and i have to wait until tomorrow. What a morning to start my day : There are many online laundry available, though this is my last order with them. Goodbye FOREVER Zipjet.
I had four accidents with my clothes in the last 4-6 months. Zipjet has to step up in quality control. Pick up and delivery works perfectly though. App is very convenient. Customer service is responsive.
My £400 coat was returned with every button on the jacket destroyed. They delivered the coat without even mentioning the damage. I contacted them persistently and there was 4-5 occasions where I was promised I would be called back, but was left waiting every single time. They offered to sew black unbranded replacement buttons instead of the blue Paul Smith ones that had been destroyed. After almost a week of being told they would contact me without doing so, I received a brief email saying it's my own fault for leaving the buttons on the coat with zero compensation. Worst dry cleaning/customer service experience of my entire life and I highly recommend to stay away from this service
